More stores should be like The Source Bulk Foods! I wholeheartedly support the idea of removing plastic packaging and bringing your own jars to stores. At Source they weigh your jars before you fill them so they can subtract the weight of the jar when you pay, and there are paper bags to use as well. I'm impressed that you can also buy resuable jars and bottles there if you don't have some already at home. My only suggestions are that there should be stickers or some sort of label for the reusable jars so I can write the product code onto it (the staff used masking tape to write the weight of the jar, but the tape was kept behind the counter and not accessible to customers) and for there to be emailed receipts! I was asked if I wanted a receipt so there is the option of saying no and saving paper, but when I said yes it was immediately printed out; I gave my email for the loyalty system so it would be easy to just email the receipt. I had a wonderful experience at this wholefood shop! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, calm, and inviting—exactly what you want when shopping for wholesome, nourishing products. The layout is beautiful and makes browsing feel effortless.

My favourite shopping experience! The team are always so friendly and warm. And always willing to help. A few months ago, the one lady (I think she is the manager) taught me how to make my own Fabric Softener with all the source ingredients (there is also a step by step guide on the instagram). Its been the best change and our clothes come out beautiful. Not only can you save so much money buying from the source but you are also doing your part to help out planet!
