Mei Hair Salon — Local services in Melbourne

They made a mess of my hair and didn't own their errors. They wanted me to pay extra in order for them to correct the mess they made of my hair. Never going to mei hair salon in Fairfield ever again. I am totally disappointed and disgusted that they didn't own their errors. I asked for full head of foils and got patches of colour here and there. In response to the owner. The 1st time I had my hair done in your salon I was quoted for full head of foils, colour inbetween and hair cut. After foils were done hairdresser said I didn't need colour inbeween but I still paid full amount quoted. I didn't mind because foils turned out perfect. 2nd time and the last, I asked for the same and was quoted the same price as the 1st time. After numerous negative comments from friends and other hairdresser I came back in Hope of correcting disaster which was refused. Instead 3 foils of lowlights were placed in front of my hair NOTHING was done with the back and sides of my hair that was very patchy, unless I paid for it. I came in for the first time two weeks ago to get my balayage style freshened. The lady started with foils and a toner, which didn't work. To fix it, she stayed back (very appreciated!) and put blond to my roots. Five hours and nearly $300 later, I'm pretty blond, and the back hasn't been touched. The colour doesn't flow through and this yucky orange band that I asked her to get rid of is still there. I went back to see what they could do. They listened, told me I was charged correctly and the only complementary thing they can offer to fix it, isn't perminant.

Worst haircut I've ever got. Even though I brought in several pictures and discussed what I was after, it turned out nothing like what I wanted! My hair was cut AFTER being dried and straightened which isn't usually what happens during a haircut. I should have known when that happened it wasn't going to be good. Not only was he haircut nothing like what I was after the fringe and front layering was completely uneven. Very unprofessional service.
