Terrible experience in store today. Never come to this place but hear really good reviews so decided go try it out. Got a shredded chicken roll, and it came with a massive bone that I nearly ate. Shredded chicken defiantly should not come with a bone in it, that’s almost the guarantee of getting shredded. When complained about it all I got was an ‘apology’ saying they didn’t know ‘who prepped the chicken’ and some lady processed to share a story about her brother choking on a bone at kfc one time. No offer of compensation whatsoever. Not very good service if you ask me. Defiantly won’t be coming back, last thing I’d like is to choke on a bone in a meal that is meant to be safe from them. I don’t see any signage anywhere in store stating that the shredded chicken could come with any bones in it, therefore I am not happy with the level of service received. If a manager could reach out to rectify this issue, that would be appreciated.

Edit: spoke with a ‘manager?’ In store after my dad went to the counter. Manager was not helpful and claimed mistakes like this happen all the time and said he would of made another if we went to the counter, but we spoke with the lady and she went behind there and told him already. Very unprofessional worker, male, curly hair and darkish skin. Very rude. Got a $10 refund but would still appreciate if someone could please respond and contact me because I wouldn’t want this happening to other people, I used to manage in a fast food restaurant and if there was a food quality complaint it is up to the manager to find out where the issue has gone wrong. So very very poor service. Will not be back to the store and will continue to tell people not to come either with the level or unprofessionalism, you don’t deserve...

My partner and I have been regular customers here for a year. We normally get the grilled chicken burgers during the week and they're normally tasty burgers with a standard amount of chicken breast. We have noticed when we get the burgers on the weekend the amount of chicken is much less compared to during the week. Yesterday I ordered 2 burgers and mentioned that the time before, there was much less chicken compared to during the week and the manager said he would put a decent amount of chicken in there. When we received the burgers there was even less chicken then the previous time, the chicken was paper thin with many areas having no chicken and was mainly filled with an excessive amount of lettuce.

I rang the store and the manager stated that during the week the staff are too generous with the amount of chicken, which doesn't seem to make sense, as it is comparable to most chicken burgers around Melbourne. However he was obliging and said that he would give me 2 replacement burgers. I went to the store to redeem my replacement burgers and spoke to the owner. The owner took me to the far side of the store and started yelling at me saying that there is never any difference with the amount of chicken in the burgers and that I'm the first person to ever complain about the amount of chicken and was being overly aggressive and pointing his finger in my face. I said that I'm not making this up and there is a substantial difference between the chicken portions during the week compared to the weekends. He said he would give me just one burger on the house, however due to his aggressive and hostile demeanor I said don't worry about it. This was the first and probably the last time I will order from this restaurant. I placed the order through uber eats. It seemed to have good reviews. Once order was placed, uber eats stated the ETA of 1946. I received an uber update of a restaurant 'delay' and this delay resulted in my order arriving almost an hour later. The whole chicken I orderdd was a bit dry and skin on the legs didn't have enough seasoning or cooked enough. I ordered a side dish of Mac and cheese, and the dish came with penne. Unfortunately all the penne absorbed all the sauce and if I knew the dish was penne, I wouldn't have ordered it. I also ordered a large scalloped potatoes. They must've ran out of large containers as we got our large order split into 2xcontainers; 1xM and 1x S size. As for the potatoes, they were more chunks rather than scalloped. Furthermore it came with bacon bits which wasn't noted in the description. The dim sims when they arrived were just warm.
