Pretzel World — Local services in Melbourne

I paid $24.75 around 2:30 pm today for two coffees and two pretzels (chocolate and ham/cheese).

Ordering it was challenging due to a new team member not knowing what a “Mocha” was, but he was clearly in training so we waited a few mins as he got assistance. The senior staff ended up making the coffees and handed over only one pretzel, claiming they were both in the white cardboard box together.

After going upstairs, I realised the ham/cheese pretzel was not there. When I returned immediately, the same senior staff member (who recognised me) asked for evidence that I had paid for two pretzels as maybe the trainee staff forgot to put it through. I suggested checking the POS machine history or reviewing CCTV footage, but she instructed me to “speak to the manager.” When I requested to speak with the manager, she denied my request, as apparently the store didn’t have one; which is very contradicting to her telling me to ask for one…

This place is divine! The pretzels come out doughy and soft yet has the crust and bite where needed! The variety is not so great and I would say that's the main reason why it does not attract more customers. If you are on the go I would recommend the American dog, always a hit with children and adults and everyone in between! For a more relaxed meal I would go the pepperoni or ham and cheese followed up with the desert pretzels! I find it a tad too sweet but I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who...

This was on 14/05/23. Food was great but customer service was not good. I had this asian lady who looked like she was in her 40s serve me and she was drop dead rude. She wasn't just rude to customers but also to the workers. I remember specifically she was speaking Chinese to this young female worker and I understood every bit of it and it was definitely not how one should be training new workers. Usually I get served by an asian man and he is the sweetest. Hopefully the lady learns from her...
