Where is the Festive spirit in Werribee RSL Absolutely nothing festive from the crabby staff working in the bar. Why have cranky sour staff in a place that should be welcoming for all. You are the first place you see when you enter Werribee, and the wet weather seemed happier than the bar staff, at least one had a Christmas top on. Sad to see that there is no holiday cheer at the Werribee RSL At least the raffles were enjoyable. We appreciated the hospitality and smiles from the bistro staff, Carol and the other gent who welcomed us upon arrival and farewelled us with a Merry Christmas. The food was ok, but the sticky tables looked as bland as the outdated building on what is meant to be a festive time of year, 11 days until Christmas and the sheer lack of Christmas spirit is dreary and depressing no doubt for our veterans who may be alone at this time. An absolute disgrace of the front of house,three staff and one manager. Upon arrival told to provide photo identification,we said it's old well manually sign in. Oh no my 89 year old mother was told you can't play the pokies without photo identification. OMG I am her power of attorney I hold her identification, upon this three staff and a my anger came out and refused us entry told to get out and this is private property and no entry. Shock is not the word. I am an ex servicemen and my family refused entry , what a disgrace an absolute disgrace. Not going to end here.
