Once again, the Wyndham City Council has demonstrated their unwavering commitment to supporting the local community and celebrating the rich equestrian heritage that runs deep in the heart of the region. Their dedicated sponsorship of the National Clydesdale and Heavy Horse Festival is a shining example of their steadfast dedication to preserving and promoting the magnificent heavy horse breeds that have played such a vital role in shaping the history and character of the area. Mr. Larry Zhao, a distinguished representative of the council, graced the event with his presence, presenting awards to the deserving winners and expressing his profound admiration for the immense effort and passion that goes into putting on such a spectacular show. His heartfelt words of congratulations to all the competitors, who had worked tirelessly to bring their equine partners to the pinnacle of perfection, resonated deeply with all in attendance. The Wyndham City Council's unwavering support for this beloved annual event is a testament to their commitment to fostering a strong sense of community, celebrating the unique talents and traditions that make the region so special, and ensuring that the majestic heavy horse breeds continue to thrive and captivate audiences for generations to come. I just wanted to thank the council pruning guys that came around to cut a dangerous overhanging branch today. They were professional and efficient. Also thanks to Kat the customer service rep that facilitated my request over the phone. Many thanks indeed, much appreciated 🤩

Fantastic council. Always quick and easy to deal with and amenities to cover what you need. I always feel relaxed and comfortable when dealing with staff here. The grounds are well kept and nicely done.

Again, another thing I've had to give a 5 star review, not because I believe Wyndham Vale council are perfect but because the other reviews are just so extreme. Yes the roads are bad during the school run and at the time office workers (if not the majority - a fairly large chunk of the working population) are on their way to work - no surprise, so leave earlier. Planning could have been done a little better when setting up the suburb but the powers that be are going to need sometime to sort that out. In terms of general services (such as rubbish collection and maintenance of common spaces) I have no complaints, the work gets done by generally helpful/friendly staff - but I'm originally from London and I will say Melbournites (Melbournians?) have higher standards. Some of the Parks like Presidents Park definitely need working on - they feel like a barren grassland - but that is then balanced out by places like Wyndham Park (though that does need cleaning - but the fault should all be place on the council - that is down to the public looking after the place as well). Sports facilities are good, but that also might be dependent on what a person earns. It will be interesting to see what happens as more suburbs grow - I hope that the council preserve the green spaces and don't sell it off to development - the atrraction for living here for me is the open spaces. Wyndham is a pretty good place to live (again I come from London - so I think my expectations are lower), but it could be great with a bit of work from the council and work from the people...

Received a fine for stopping couple min in front of mercy Hospital outpatient while dropping my pragnent wife for appointment!!! Sent for review with all information, and appointment details and explaining the situation of urgency and also mentioning never received a parking fine in over 5 yrs.. received outcomes today on SATURDAY ..nothing was mentioned on outcome of the review except saying; rules applies for everyone, and doesn't matter any situation!!! to get this sort of answer is nothing short of insulting and inhuman!!!Your council is run by very bad, evil people!!! And the lady who made the decision was absolutely rude and evil when I spoke on phone!!! She was speaking as she is god and solely made that decision sending the outcome email on Saturday morning!!! So, this means Wyndham council is very strict on rules wants other to follow strictly doesn't matter what the situation is!!! But Does it follow itself?? Let's take a note of it...
