Will's Batch Ice Cream — Local services in Melbourne

I visited this Saturday dated 25/01/2025 chances are I might be wrong to review it like this but that’s how it was so let it be known Will’s Batch, and while the ice cream itself was absolutely fantastic—rich flavors, creamy textures, and truly some of the best I’ve tasted—the experience was marred by the staff’s lack of professionalism.

During my visit, the staff appeared untrained and more focused on chatting and flirting with each other than attending to customers. It was disappointing to stand at the counter waiting for service while the employees were distracted and uninterested in providing the level of care you’d expect from such a high-quality establishment.

The great taste of the ice cream deserves five stars, but the service left much to be desired. With better training and a more customer-focused attitude, Will’s Batch could truly be an unbeatable spot. Hopefully, management addresses this issue soon, as the product deserves to shine alongside exceptional service.

Willi's Batch ice Cream makes a great ice Cream no argument there ! But keeping up with supplies for popular flavors seem to be an issues for the Elsternwick store In last 5 visit there in over 5 weeks period 4 of this visit we were very disappointed its seems that dark chcollate flavor are always out of stock specially if u arriving near closing time its seems like there not keen to open new batch before closing . Customers are reluctantly ordering other flavors which they did not intend to buy , obviously darkchocolate and coffee flavor seem to be most popular and since they are the producers of this product why is it hard for them to insure availability of this popular flavors so all customers can have same choice of buying their choice of flavors . Summer is on doors step and ice cream demand will be greater so I hope the store owner will take this conideration and keep all of his customers...

Icecream was yummy ...no complaints there but that girl behind the counter, seriously what was your problem...(we didn't ask you to keep standing there,we wanted to take time and decide BECAUSE the closing time was 10PM)....rude,impatient and unwelcoming....if you don't want people to come after 9,please change your timings instead of showing your attitude...and while we were deciding on the flavours one person simply started taking few boxes away...no questions asked or apologies or explanations.. So I strongly suggest to please close your precious icecream shop by 9 or 8 so that the people working there can go home happily and not ruin...
