It was a really quiet Sunday night when we dropped in at Qmin. We had the staff all to ourselves and it was a really pleasant meal. Their food and service feels just a bit more upmarket compared to the usual Indian restaurants in the area. I really appreciate that and am happy to pay a couple of extra dollars. We ordered cauliflower bullets, chicken tikka masala, beef gaal rogan (beef cheeks) along with some rice and naan. All were very good and there were lots of other interesting dishes for future visits. The mango lassie was a particularly nice addition as it was quite different from the usual mango flavoured yogurt. It was served with a wide straw for sucking up the pearls floating in it, like boba tea. All up we had a great meal and look forward to our next visit.

My partner and I came to Qmin this evening for dinner after a lovely afternoon at the beach both craving a chicken biryani. We were greeted by the kindest staff who were very accommodating to certain paletes and presented us the most incredible tasting biryani we've ever eaten. The presentation was suburb, and the flavour absolutely divine. I highly recommend trying this as it also comes with delicious roti cooked over the top. The mango lassi is fantastic as well, and makes a fabulous accompaniment. We are very much looking forward to returning to try another dish soon.

My friend took me for my birthday treat dinner. Guess what! turned out a blast..we have order koftha style main with bread ( naan) and pulaoh...my friends favourite goat curry ... both are delicious and mouth watering till the end.. very very friendly staff.. he has a unique taste of decorating the restaurant... it seems he uses his brain than the wallet.... the highlight is the Monaliza painting.... she has been transformed to a typical Indian female..Thanks to the owner.. overall we will be visiting here a lot

What a great find! Qmin is an exceptional Indian restaurant that provides a culinary journey across the subcontinent.

The entrees we tried were are a masterclass in flavour and texture. The Cauliflower Bullets, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, were a delightful surprise and even had my daughter, who dislikes cauliflower, reaching for more. The Onion Crisps were addictive and impossible to stop at just one. The Eggplant Stack, with its layers of smoky eggplant and creamy sauce, is a revelation. It looks so great when it arrives, you almost don't want to mess up the presentation! For meat lovers, the Chicken Tikka, marinated to perfection and grilled to tender, juicy perfection, is a must-try. We can't wait to work our way through the other dishes on the entree list.

But an absolute highlight, without a doubt, is the Kashmiri Lamb Roganjosh. This classic dish is elevated to new heights, with tender lamb cooked in a rich, aromatic sauce that's both familiar and innovative. The Chicken Tikka Masala, another standard for an Indian restaurant, is creamy, spicy, and utterly satisfying.

We were also very impressed by Qmin's commitment to quality and value. The prices are remarkably reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes and exceptional quality of the ingredients.

The service at Qmin is also top-notch, with friendly, attentive staff who are happy to guide you through the menu and offer recommendations.

Qmin is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves Indian food. With its flavourful dishes, reasonable prices, and exceptional service, it's a true gem that will have you booking a...

We made a booking to the restaurant after seeing the excellent reviews across all platforms and whilst we live far we decided to go there.

The staff provided the menu's and took time to explained the various dishes and also pointed out the specials board. Good thing, they did as it was clear through the explanation that this was no ordinary and standard Indian food joint. Whilst the menu is essentially Indian, it was a delicate twist on the flavours.

We ordered quite a few dishes with some suggestion from the staff and when they were bought to the table, the unanimous reaction was wow. Mushroom croquettes were perfectly spiced and wonderfully moist. My wife who is not fa fan of mushrooms mentioned it was the best thing she tasted. Ditto with Cauliflower bullets which were exceptionally crispy and light. Others on the table were equally effusive about the fish fry.

In the mains, we had Paneer butter masala, Eggplant Chokha, Zafrani Kofta and a lamb dish. Eggplant had that wonderful smoky flavour that reminded me of home and paneer was soft and crumbly in a sauce that was very delicately spiced. Kofta too was melt in the mouth.

We were then served a desserts tasting plate. It had several items all exceptional quality, but the standout were the Cardamom pearls. I had never seen or eaten them before. It is a burst of flavour that is simultaneously pleasant and surprising.

All in all, thank you Qmin for delivering an exceptional experience and we will come...

What a pleasant surprise! There are many places with a fancier street presentation perhaps, but inside is a different story. Well dressed tables and immediately attentive staff, professional and proud of how they serve you! The menu is intriguing, and refreshingly different to many Indian eateries, and we were particularly taken with the Signature Dishes. After sharing entrees of delicious Onion Crisps and Mushroom Croquettes, we moved on to the mains; my wife having the Shepherd's Pie, and I the Barramundi, both of which were far more Indian than they sound, along with Qmin Rice and super Cheese Naan Bread. Dishes all served promptly, and piping hot, while the presentation of all was first class! (Just writing this makes me want to scrape one more skerrick from the pan.) Even the wine I had was an excellent pick, and we finished with a delicious shared...
