Yo India — Local services in Melbourne

Yo India catered our wedding in January 2019. We organised our own wedding in our backyard, and a food truck out front was the perfect catering option for us. Yo India were highly professional during the whole planning stage, right through to the big day. They made the whole process super easy, and were a pleasure to deal with. Most importantly, the food was really, really good ! We got a range of delicious entrees, which were a big hit. The mains were some of the best curry's I have had, and the serving size was really good. There was an option for everyone, including vegetarians. We over catered a little bit, which turned out great, as we had awesome left overs for a couple days! We booked in Yo India to be the caterers for our wedding reception. Unfortunately they cancelled on us 3 weeks before our wedding - the reason was that apparently another couple that had already booked and paid for catering had decided to move their wedding to the same day as our wedding.

Conan cancelled on us via email. I rung him immediately upon receiving the email. He told me that he was speaking to the other couple and trying to see if he could still could cater on our wedding day and would call us back in an hour - he never called back. He also gave us the contacts of 2 other caterers that he said he had spoken to and told us that they could both help us out. We called them both immediately and both of them said that they had never spoken to Conan/ Yo India.

After 2 months hanging out regularly at welcome to thornbury, trying to find a food truck that didnt feel like a one trick wonder to cater our wedding, yo india was a stand out favourite. Most trucks only got one chance to prove themselves and whilst most were fine we tested different dishes from yo india on three seperate nights and they never failed to impress. Twelve months later Conan and his familly catered our wedding (of 72 guests) and they were fantastic. We got complements about the food from many of our guests (so it wasn't just us) and they went above and beyond on the day including helping out our overworked waiters.
