We held our wedding at the Pavillion in January this year and it truely was beautiful! The setting, the view, ceremony decking area, food were all fantastic and cannot be faulted. If you are looking for a venue that really has it all, then this is it!! Setting up the venue is done by yourself but that is what we loved as it was so personal to us and we were really happy with how the finished venue looked ready for our day. The management in charge of our day and evening however was such a disappointment . The supervisor had no social skills, wasn’t approachable at all, had an extremely sour face for the entirety and was rude to countless guests (of whom we received feedback from). She also cleared away all of our alcohol at 9.30pm when our drinks package ended at 10 10pm. When we brought up our concerns after our wedding with the coordinator, it took over a month for a so called answer and still with no apology. We did not by any means let this ruin our day because we, ourselves had made it perfect but if anyone is wanting to get married here- please ask to meet the manager who is rostered for your day to ensure you do not have the same experience repeated. We had friends who were wanting to enquire to have their own wedding held here in August but after seeing how this so called member of management was, they have changed their minds. We had the best day with all of our friends and family and it was simply stunning but the pavilion really need to rethink who they hire as management and staff to avoid this being a...
Read moreWe just returned home from their Father’s Day Luncheon and i am sorry to say I wish we dined somewhere else.
We were really disappointed with the seating arrangements. There was no mention of shared tables - anywhere in your marketing for this event. It felt awkward sitting with complete strangers, and felt somewhat like a really bad, cheaply put together wedding - There wasnt even music.
It was suppose to be a special lunch with family and instead i felt embarrassed and had to constantly apologize to my father.
I know $50 per head is not a lot, so we cant expect the world; however communication to your patrons on the seating arrangements on a special day like today, wouldnt go astray.
When i emailed them my feedback they replied “ In regards to marketing this event, we clearly stated “guest will dine on tables of 8 -10 and smaller booking shared”, Please see your ticket and T&C’s below.“
Yes, The Pavilion, you are correct in saying it was stated on the tickets.... ONCE PAYMENT WAS RECIEVED. It also mentions on T&C’s “tickets are non-refundable” there was no mention of seating arrangements on either their website or the booking engine.
First and last time we visit this...
Read moreWe recently photographed an awards ceremony at The Pavilion, Mindarie. It's in a beautiful location, offering nice views of the marina, which added to the relaxed atmosphere of the event. The rooms were spacious, and provided sufficient space for all of the guests to gather before the event in the bar area and undercover entrance. Guests were then seated during the ceremony over dinner and formalities. And an additional room was set up with a musician and dance-floor for extended celebrations throughout the evening. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The Pavilion, Mindarie is definitely worth...
