We were excited for our reservation, but our experience was quite odd. Although we ordered for dine-in, my cappuccino arrived in a take-away cup because they ran out of dishes. I raised the issue in person and said I was more than happy to wait for a proper mug- even if it took longer.

A few minutes later (after the waitress said it would be a long wait), the waitress returned with the coffee in a mug, but it was stained, spilled and not topped up (picture attached). Her explanation, delivered with a passive-aggressive tone, was that she had “found some clean mugs and poured the coffee into them”. This response felt unprofessional and completely unnecessary and left me uncomfortable. I felt guilty for raising the issue, even though I had specifically requested a dine-in experience and didn’t want to take it further in person because of the way I was made to feel.

As someone in the hospitality industry, I was surprised by this treatment, which not only affected my experience but also made my guests uneasy.

On a positive note, the coffee itself was good. However, the food was okay and seemed slightly overpriced...

So embarrassed. I booked a table for Father's Day. First of all, we were allocated to sit on a tiny, like really tiny excuse for a table (for people who wait for their take away coffee perhaps?) There was no way we could have put breakfast plates and beverages on that table. Plus, it is a high table that was uncomfortable. Staff begrudgingly gave us another table. ..and then homed in on us to ensure we finished our meal b4 the booked time of the next group...she made us feel so uncomfortable. I'm so sorry that I booked a table with this cafe. After spending about 70 dollars, I was made to feel unwanted. The thing is there were tables empty for scheduled booking from an hour and half onwards Omg, she then booted us. We were so embarrassed. Others around us heard it. We were deeply offended...

The menu offered a delightful array of delectable treats that were simply mouthwatering. The selection was diverse, and each item was beautifully presented, showcasing the attention to detail that went into crafting the high tea experience. From the perfectly baked scones to the scrumptious sandwiches, everything exuded quality and taste.

The standout feature of this high tea experience was the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to cater to our needs. What particularly impressed me was how accommodating they were in providing a slightly altered menu to suit the palate of my 5-year-old companion.
