Came in for lunch and got the seafood snack pack and potato scallops. The batter on the potato scallops, seafood scallops and fish cocktails was very nice. Light, airy and crispy. The seafood scallops were very fresh and succulent and so was the fish. The shop had a great selection of of seafood both battered, crumbed and fresh. There were also many different salads and other accompaniments. Pricing was very affordable especially for the quality. Customer service was fantastic. Ordering from one end and paying at the counter. All the items were perfectly seasoned. Theres a row of seats along the side of the shop if you want to eat there. Had an amazing experience at Kingsgrove Seafood. The fish was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, yet tender and flaky on the inside. The chips were equally impressive – crisp, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection.

But the real surprise? The pineapple fritters. They were an absolute delight – golden, crispy batter surrounding sweet, juicy pineapple. Each bite was a perfect balance of crunchy and refreshing, with a hint of caramelized sweetness. It’s rare to find fritters done this well, and they absolutely stole the show.

I rated this place 5 stars around 2 years ago but unfortunately I've come back and have to give it 1 star after the old owners left. The quality of the food has really gone down hill from when they sold the shop. No one was even notified that the shop had been sold so really disappointed when we found out. The new owners always stated "they're on holiday" when asked where the old owners were instead of telling us it was sold. You can't really be telling us the same excuse 5 months later? I've found random black dots on my food, hair in my food and the chips use to be so good but have now changed. You can tell the new owners are very money hungry and don't care about quality at all. Definitely DON'T recommend...
