Coles Central Wynyard Express: The Subway of Supermarkets Coles Central Wynyard Express. It's Coles, but in Wynyard. More specifically, under Wynyard. Deep in the subterranean labyrinth of tunnels that connect Sydney's bustling transport hub, this Coles exists as a kind of retail anomaly. It's the supermarket equivalent of a convenience store, a pit stop for commuters, and a lifeline for city workers who've forgotten to pack lunch (again). Forget sprawling aisles and leisurely browsing. This Coles is all about efficiency. It's a tightly packed, meticulously organised space where every square metre is optimised for maximum product display. You'll find the essentials, of course - milk, bread, that suspiciously long-lasting sushi - but don't expect the extensive selection of your suburban Coles megastore. Navigating Coles Central Wynyard Express is like traversing a particularly well-stocked subway station. Hordes of people rush past, dodging trolleys and weaving through the narrow aisles with the practiced ease of seasoned commuters. You'll find yourself caught in a current of hurried shoppers, all on a mission to grab their necessities and get back to the surface world. The atmosphere is a curious blend of urgency and indifference. People seem to be shopping on autopilot, their eyes fixed on their shopping lists, their minds already on their next meeting or train connection. It's a far cry from the leisurely weekend shop, but it has a strange energy all its own. And yet, despite the lack of space and the constant rush, Coles Central Wynyard Express has a certain charm. Maybe it's the fluorescent glow that illuminates the underground space, or the slightly disorienting feeling of being surrounded by concrete walls. Or maybe it's the knowledge that this little supermarket is a vital part of the city's ecosystem, serving the needs of thousands of people every day. So, if you find yourself in Wynyard, needing a quick grocery fix, don't hesitate to descend into the depths of Coles Central Wynyard Express. Just be prepared for a shopping experience that's a little different from the norm. It's Coles, but in Wynyard. And that, in itself, is...

No smile, totally distracted, the minimum words required "Hello..... Cash or Card.... Receipt" were the only things she said. She actually was looking the other way when I answered "no receipt" and out came a receipt anyway. The asian ladies here are actually very nice, but some of the others need to consider if they hate their job so much, it may be best for them to go work elsewhere.
2023 :The range has disappeared in recent years and sometimes you can't find what you are looking for which is very unfortunate.
The layout of the store is pretty good, with a decent meat range (doesn't compare to a fully fledged coles though)
The staff themselves seem to quite a happy bunch, smiling a lot and are...

That's way I came to Coles Wynyard Express when I transfered. First I was told by Edward that I couldn't claim it unless I shop at his store, which was conflicted with the information was given by ashfield. But he still gave one to me with bad attitude. When I touched the mini I feel I may have it already so ask to swap to another one. Then he just reply "you can't " "you are not allowed to swap". Can he be more impolited?!
To Coles: If you have a policy to say "can't claim at other stores" pls don't inform your customers like that. If you couldn't swap when the customer didn't open it pls as least show your respect! Please train...
