Please provide the staff some training on customer service and basic manners. Itâs ok to make mistakes and can happen accidentally from customers or staff! But itâs absolutely disgraceful on how your staff handled the situation and treated me! Sharing the last weekâs incident. Being a regular customer, I ordered a take away hot chocolate and was waiting for it. There are many times when my name, though small, is misspelled/ mispronounced(fair enough, it happens, not a complaint). Also, sometimes the barista will be super busy with orders, will call out the names fast and keep the takeaway coffee cups there. And it could be misinterpreted when multiple orders are there. So, this time when he called a name, I heard it exactly like mine and I thought the same! I grabbed it, sipped and then realised that it was different. I returned back immediately and apologised as it could be âmy mistakeâ and I might have heard it incorrectly. I offered to pay extra, as I already sipped it, but I wanted my original order as I donât drink coffee. . The reaction from both staff felt very rude. They didnât respond properly. I waited for sometime, feeling confused as they were not saying anything and many people left. Later, I could see that mine was kept on the table. He didnât call out my name or informed. He called out some other customers name in between and looks like intentionally left mine ignored on the table! By that time, it was not at all busy too. I picked it from there, even that time, there was no acknowledgment or look from the staff! Total rude behaviour! As if I were asking for some free food đMoreover it was cold! As I had to rush to work, I didnât end up in any further conversations with your staff! My questions to the owner: if there is any misunderstanding or incidents, is this how you treat customers? Especially when customer apologised and voluntarily offered to pay the money? Saying this, I had one of the previous orders messed up from the shop before and didnât raise any complaints or dramas, as I understand that it can happen and they are also humans! Sorry, you lost...
Read moreI recently visited the Starbucks located on York Street, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. What caught my attention and led me to choose this particular Starbucks were the six tables available outside the coffee shop, perfect for enjoying the pleasant ambiance.
Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Their welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. Not only were they friendly, but they also excelled in delivering prompt service. My order was prepared and served to me in no time, ensuring that I could enjoy my coffee without any delay.
The convenience of quick service is particularly important when you're on the go, and this Starbucks exceeded my expectations in that regard. Whether you're in a rush or looking for a hassle-free experience, this Starbucks location is an excellent option to get your daily coffee fix.
The highlight for me, however, was the availability of six outdoor tables. The opportunity to sit outside and enjoy my coffee while watching the world go by was truly delightful. It added a touch of relaxation and made my visit all the more enjoyable.
In conclusion, if you're in search of a Starbucks that offers both efficient service and outdoor seating, I highly recommend the Starbucks on York Street. The friendly staff, swift service, and inviting outdoor ambiance make it a fantastic choice for your daily...
Read moreUpdate #4 I ordered the pain au chocolat, and got a pain croissant. I said I ordered a pain au chocolat, but was rudely told âYOU SAY IT WRONG, next time say chocolate croissantâ. Seriously, I canât believe this was the attitude I received. No customer deserves this and you have given my day a bad mood to start with. Thanks.
This also marks the 4th time they took my order wrong.
Update - Unfortunately got my order wrong the THIRD time (different staff from original post). Avoid avoid avoid. Ordered ham and cheese danish but instead got croissant. Everyone ordered after me got the food before me. Only good thing is Barista are smiling which is lovely. However given the mistakes I wonât be returning as a frequent customer sorry. Itâs just too bad.
I think you can provide your employees with better training to understand what customers want efficiently. Way too many mistakes made during my recent orders. Every time had to explain which combo I wanted or correct the mistake. You need to know morning time before work is very precious to your customers. Also they need to show proper manners to customers - a bit empathy goes a long way! Although I love the food I really couldnât afford having to explain every single time! Not...
