The night started off pretty good! the security were surprisingly very sweet. I was confused because i needed 2 IDâs to get in cuz ive never been clubbing before (fresh 18.) Went in an had a few drinks, danced a bit (music was great) then I went to sit down to treat my blood sugar (type 1 diabetic) because i was wobbly and dizzy. One of the managers or security came up to me and said âcan you come with me pleaseâ with no context. I panicked at that point i thought i did something wrong- he asked me if i was okay because I was stumbling- i showed him proof that i was diabetic and i was shaky and panicky but hey im just an overly anxious person no fault of theirs- they asked why i was shaky and i told them my blood sugar was low i need sugar and that i was very anxious, i was a bit tipsy wt the time so i was blabbering about being autistic and saying it was loud and i couldnât focus on the conversation. THIS LOVELY MAN- CAME BACK 5 MINS LATER WITH A CAN OF SPRITE, EARPLUGS AND A WATER BOTTLE!!! To the guy with the funky glasses who is most likely the manager/ thankyou so much for being so kind.
THE REASON why i left 3 stars is because i did get kissed on the cheek and felt up while dancing, sitting down, etc. My first time at this club i got offered coke and got asked for a blowie from this disgusting man. Heâs a regular there and im writing this long review so hopefully the mangers will see and get him banned. He was an older man, a regular; i believe he had these tiny glasses on and he is seen constantly taking to young women. I walked away after he offered me coke, kissed me on the cheek when i was leaving in to hear him over the loud music!! Totally uncalled for and disgusting. After that incident i grabbed my friend and told her i needed fresh air- i went outside and started crying, i had a huge panic attack: One of the security guards started following me/ this very kind female worker. She brought me water while i was sitting down and having panic attacks on and off outside the bar. She had curly hair and darker skin, Iâm describing her so she hopefully gets recognised and gets a raise!!!
OVERALL: Groping, drug offers, gross men- atmosphere is 1/10 drinks: Expensive but yummy 4/10 Staff: 10/10...
Read moreHad the misfortune of dealing with the manager of this establishment last night. After being dropped off with an empty can of beer in my hand and then rather than littering asking the manager where the nearest bin was I was then told I would not be allowed into the establishment tonight. I had taken no sips from the can in the vicinity. It being the first drink of the night I was also very clearly not intoxicated. I tried to stay polite and calm and have a discussion about the options to which he said no matter what youâre not getting into this venue tonight but your friends can without you. He then proceeded to follow myself up the alley to make sure I then did not try and get into any other bars and told door staff complete nonsense about my behaviour. I have no idea what I did that night to make this man have a vendetta against me however, I do wish him the best in life as to act and treat people the way you do (Iâve had a few people say theyâve had issues with him) there must not be whole lot going on other than work to have that much of a power trip about an unsold out club night. Iâve worked in the events industry running club events, festivals and street parties and we always made it our best effort to make sure everyone who wanted to experience our events could and treated them with respect. And people wonder why the night life industry is dying itâs because of managers like this contributing to it. First time a managers been worse than the bouncers (who might I add were...
Read moreIvy wow! What a night you provided. 30 minutes into the concert we came to see my friend was asked to leave due to throwing ice at her friend (a single cube and the gesture was playful) anyways I went with her and we stood in silence with shock after being told she was banned for 6 months for it! Still I had came to terms our night was over, once departed from the elevator I turn around to see my friend attempt to take one last sip of her drink but then violently hit by the security guard. When we exclaimed to not touch us as we have been compliant and this is unnecessary we continued to leave to then feel a violent push on both our backs almost Causing us to collapse. This was a final line as we had been completely compliant at this stage and were walking away from the venue when hands were raised at us. I turned around asking not to touch us and exclaiming how not okay this behaviour was. To then be met by management who informed me âthey can touch us however they wantâ and âit is there rightâ yet we had not resisted the ATL. Voices were raised and insults were made on both parties. Which is upsetting it came to this because we honestly just wanted recognition for what was happening yet continued to be told they have the right to use physical force with us (we were not resisting the situation was completely unsafe) The behaviour was absolutely appalling from the Halo security group and seeing from reviews this isnât the first story, how upsetting to be notorious for...
