This little centre opened in May 2017, all the shops are still the original ones from opening day and all still owned by the original vendors too. Parking can be a bit of an issue at peak times it's pretty small. Due to Richmond Rd and selfish people trying to circumnavigate having to stop and wait their turn at the red light they come around the corner and constantly block the roundabout so getting in and out can be VERY hard at peak hour in the morning but ESPECIALLY in the afternoon/early evening this can be absolutely MADDENING.
The woolworths USED to be fantastic, shelves always filled, clean and bright, usually enough staff throughout the store but could be a bit slack with having normal checkouts open and available, they even used to film the woolworths commercials here, but unfortunately this woolworths has REALLY taken a nose dive, CONSTANTLY empty shelves, things not even where the tags are, the deli often unattended and with minimal products available, barely any staff available in any of the areas in the store, now mostly only 2 people SOMETIMES 3 people working down the front, 1 in self-service who can't not leave that area and another working the smoke counter as well as the express checkout plus needing to run to the back of the store to collect the click and collect orders leaving the front unattended for great lengths of time creating very long lines for service and there now is NEVER any checkouts open for people like me with disabilities or people with really full trolleys, and they have 1 particular staff member there Aaliyah who seems to work most days who is incredibly rude, unhelpful, I could go on as she really is a vile person but this already getting long, anyways this isn't the best woolworths to go to anymore, it's often dirty shelves are bare its pretty sad really. As for the rest of this centre, the hairdresser's is VERY expensive, I have to go elsewhere for myself and my family to have their hair done which is a shame. There is a phone accessories store which always seems to be empty but have been there since day 1 so much do ok. The bakery is not bad, always very well stocked, they work hard and long hours and are very lovely people. The nail salon, they very lovely ladies, prices are more on the higher side as they have no competitors. There is a BWS but they close very early. Newsagents, they have a fairly decent selection considering they are the smallest shop. There is a Cafe but they close by 3pm so don't really get my vote, plus the 3 times I've been there the coffee isn't very nice, everything is very expensive, the service is very slow. There is a kebab/pizza shop these guys are pretty popular and their food is delicious. A sushi shop, this couple are absolutely lovely and their sushi isn't to bad. A Vietnamese takeaway, I can't read the menu, I don't eat Vietnamese so I can't say but plenty of people go there. There is a real estate agent. A small Doctor's surgery, went there once and had a horrible experience with the female Dr and have refused to return. My favourite store of all is Choice Pharmacy, the original staff are still there, I have several medical issues so I'm often in there and they are just brilliant, head pharmacist Jasnita is amazing she is always available to help and explain anything you need to know, Jaz just has a way at putting you at ease ive never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable talking to her about any issue, medical or personal. They have a free baby clinic every Tuesday (I believe it's still Tuesday, could be Wednesday best to double check) Rebecca who looks after the non pharmaceutical stuff is just lovely and very helpful and has very good knowledge of the vitamins and other medical items you might need, but all the staff are just truly lovely and their prices are competitive but I'd still go there no matter what because sometimes that person touch is more important. Oh also the bathroom facilities here are really nice, some of the best I've seen in a public area, always clean, plenty room, even a...
Read moreVery neat and well organised village. The woolworths there is very neat, clean, well organised and presented. The staff were friendly. Everything was stocked which was excellent. The self service checkout was the only thing that was not good most of the self service checkouts were out except for about 5 that were not working at the time. Luckily, it was not busy. That was the only downfall other than that the store was excellent. The shopping centre village itself was neat and clean the carpark was messy but it was windy at the time. The outlet shops were basic but also looked neat and clean. A great little place to shop and pick...
Read moreOver all this store is very well presented, new and clean, and as a whole Greenway Village is a viable place to shop for a variety of things from groceries, to medicine or alcohol. There are friendly take away places lining the outside of the centre with friendly staff, good food and servic.
The Woolworths there however is always very under stocked, the bakery section is never full and missing dozens of items, and the staff that run the delicatessen are very abrupt and rude.
I use this store when I have to (on the way home from work) but I absolutely don't do so out...
