First takeaway at the restaurant and I ordered 2 mixed chargrill plates and a double chicken chargrill plate worth $73, alongside with a spinach and cheese gozleme worth $10 and waited approximately 20-30 minutes.
------REVIEW ON THE CHARGRILL PLATE------ Will not recommend anyone to try the chargrill plates because of many reasons: • It was very difficult to eat the lamb - very tough, chewy, dry and bland. • The chicken was cut into big pieces, very bland and dry at the same time which made it difficult to eat. It honestly tasted like it was premade and reheated. The chicken also gave a bad smell and I gave up eating it. • The sides consisting of tabouli, red cabbage and tomato + onion salad was very bland. No lemon in the tabouli or on the side (for such an expensive plate). The red cabbage was disgusting, and it tasted oily. • The rice was bland and cooked pretty well. But all the oil from the chicken that was placed on the rice dripped into it, contributing to its bad taste -.- •The so-called “Turkish bread” was given alongside the plate. It was too thin and hard to eat. It was the exact opposite of what you normally get at Turkish restaurants. The thing that I ate should not even be called Turkish bread.
The chargrill plate pictures on the website for this restaurant looks pleasing and very delicious and was one of the main reasons why I purchased them. However, it does not taste like what it looks like on the website. Not even one plate was finished properly. Not even one person who had consumed these were satisfied with the contents. I lost my appetite on the first bite. In my honest opinion, it was disgusting and by far the worst takeaway I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. No offence to the store. The reason why my review is very long.
Hope this helps for anyone who’s trying this for the first time. Don’t buy a bulk of plates and do takeaway because it is a waste of money. For a person who’s trying this for the first time, please get 1 plate first and then taste it at the store and see how you find it.
To the owner/chef, please taste the food before you send it out. It was the worst takeaway I’ve ever had in my whole life. I have tasted better turkish food elsewhere. Hopefully, you improve your plates so you do not let your customers down.
------REVIEW ON SPINACH AND CHEESE GOZLEME----- It was okay, and a bit tasty. Thankfully, it wasn’t worser than the chargrill plates.
------RATING------ Would have rated this restaurant 0 stars because more than 3 quarters of the food was not pleasant and satisfying. It was all thrown out unfortunately. Also because of the amount of money I wasted on the chargrill plates.
Will never be coming back here anytime again in the future. Thanks for the disgusting experience Greenway...
Read moreI ordered from Greenways Kebab and Pizza via uber eats, and wow, what a fantastic experience! I got their 12-piece grilled BBQ chicken and two HSP chicken snack packs, and everything was absolutely top-notch.
First, let’s talk about the BBQ chicken, which i just tasted when it arrived– tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Thank you to the staff i spoke to earlier. Each piece was well-marinated, with a deep, smoky flavour that made every bite delicious. The seasoning was just right, not too overpowering, and the chicken stayed moist inside while perfectly crisp on the outside. It was obvious that a lot of care went into preparing these pieces. Honestly, it was the kind of BBQ chicken that keeps you coming back for more.
Now, the chicken snack packs – simply phenomenal! They arrived piping hot, and the combination of crispy fries, flavorful chicken, and just the right amount of sauces made it impossible to put down the fork. The meat was tender with that grilled taste, perfectly balanced by creamy garlic and spicy chilli sauces that were given together with the takeaway. Every mouthful was packed with flavour, my visitors and i am currently enjoying, and the fries held up well under the toppings without getting soggy. WELL, I like it when the chips get soggy thou it mixes with the chicken juice 😋. This snack pack wasn’t just a snack – it felt like a meal in itself. Our lunch was perfect. Generous portions, great presentation, and a perfect mix of textures.
From start to finish, everything I ordered was incredibly tasty and satisfying and worth my money. The food was not only well-prepared but also arrived in great time, warm and fresh. Greenways Kebab and Pizza wins my heart, easily one of the best places in the area for grilled chicken and snack packs. If you're looking for something flavorful, filling, and worth every penny, this place won’t disappoint. The buy 1 and get 1 free was the best deal. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. Just look at the photo. Isn't it...
