Caesar salad was award winning quality. I should know it is my favourite salad. I like this place. Am I right? If You like this place too press like. 😇 the Deli has been renovated recently and is now located on the other side of the store. The service and quality of the food hasn't changed. Standing at the counter I'm always flanked by several shoppers waiting to purchase food from the Deli. Quite a wide range of products available. In the day there were a lot more traditional delicatessens around, but now isnt it good to see a resurgence in the Deli's popularity? It would be a sad day if the Delicatessen disappeared. The variety of foods that they deliver aren't just remnants of yesterday but point towards a full future filled with foods we refuse to surrender. Yes I do love the variety of salads we have come to expect. Caesar salad makes such a lovely meal and you know they don't skimp on quality and taste. The service is fast and friendly. The girls work hard stocking shelves, cleaning and serving. It is a popular place to shop with plenty of fresh delicious foods to choose from on the menu. We came into your store yesterday for the Pepsi max deal you have advertised (24 cans for $20) we were disappointed to find no stock available to purchase, I understand this sometimes happens. While we were there we decided to purchase 2x T Bone steaks and a packet of sausages for dinner. Upon getting the sausages out of the packet, there were a few with the skin falling off and noticed the extremely poor quality straight away. We cooked a couple, they had no flavour, full of filling and shrunk dramatically in size. The T bones had no flavour and the meat had absolutely no colour or flavour. Love this IGA. Good range of items for a smaller shop. The deli section is great. Staff are terrific. I know a lot of people want a bakery in a little shop like this but have fresh baked bread rolls delivered daily. A good selection brand breads and boutique sourdoughs. This is great. A well sourced, fresh and often local fruit and vegie section. What you do have is an incredible small deli in there with a great variety of rustic salads, varied fresh meats cut to your requirements. Antipasto type foods to choose from.
