Jaimy's Cafe Rouse Hill — Local services in Sydney

My family and I just had the worst breakfast service experience today (Feb 16, Sunday), which, unfortunately, is going to be the last. All five of us have been regulars of sort, but the food service for the last couple of weekends have progressively worsened. We go here for our weekend breakfast because the seating outside could accommodate baby prams. Our bad experience are very similar to other recent reviews (e.g., from Andrew Day). The young female waitress has been consistently rude and incompetent. One of our orders, eggs on toast, had to be repeated three times: twice at the counter and once again almost 20 minutes later when it wasn’t served. We were done with our meals when we noticed that our muffin order didn’t arrive. When followed up at the counter, the male staff was apologetic; but another 15 minutes passed and we had to follow up again: the muffin was left sitting in the microwave. We had similar experiences with the cutleries; there was none on the table and we had to grab them ourselves. The drinking cups are constantly dirty with dust and stains that we were left wondering if they are washed at all. Our coffee orders don’t get served; the young waitress leaves them on the table and leaves it for us to figure out to grab which is theirs. I took my son here as he received a voucher from this company as player of the match from his football team. On arrival I was told they are not honouring them as there were people turning up who didn’t play for the club. Firstly that is not my problem or my son’s who earned this. Why give them out in the first place if you have no intention of honouring them. B&B could have asked the club to provide a list of the names of the kids who play on the teams I would have been happy to provide his student ID. They were on proper card stock not just a piece of paper so not like they could just be photocopied. Also the music in store is really not appropriate when they have minors going in there, my son was not the only one. They also have a milkshake & brownie bar I certainly wouldn’t take my kids with that type of music playing. Great food options, good tasting food as well. Great drinks options too. Fast service. Clean environment. Most staff are nice and friendly. Except the one that took my order. Served cold brew to dine in, in a slippy cup as iced long black. Instead of understanding what I was expecting from a cold brew, the drink was slammed on my table and forced to accept it when I raised my curiosity with staff. Maybe there is a misunderstanding, maybe there was a miscommunication, maybe she was having a bad day neither justification her attitude. I was also told that I was probably used to something else from somewhere and expected something that they do not do. I am a simple man who can resolve any issues with simple communication.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.
