NOMI — Local services in Sydney

I ordered 3 NOMI stools. Originally the timeline was two months. Then it was three months. At the end of three months, when my stools did not arrive, I asked NOMI for an updated timeline. I was told they were another month away. At the end of that additional month, the stools had not arrived, and I was told they were another month away. At this point, I cancelled the order. I was promised a refund. I communicated at multiple points that this refund needed to go onto a different card as my previous card and associated credit account had been cancelled. Despite this, the refund was still executed to my previous card. It has now been six months since I first place the order, and two months since I cancelled it. I have still not received my refund. At every step of the way, the communication was initiated by me. If I hadn’t followed up, I wouldn’t have received any notification about the delays. At every step of the way, the NOMI team created additional admin for me, including to this day as I am still chasing this refund due to their poor systems, communication and financial management. I fell in love with the NOMI products and design philosophy, but their business has let me down...

I will keep this short and sweet. NOMI is designer furniture at attainable prices. From the our purchase to the installation of our NOMI dining table, we were kept across everything. In my experience from designer purchases, especially other Australian designer furniture brands, you hand over your money and you're then left wondering where your item is for months. At NOMI you need not wonder. You're kept up to date from order placement to delivery - every step, every progression along it's being built, and I can not tell you how great that is to not have to once send an email or call to ask "What's happening!?"
