We had my daughters 1st birthday party here recently and paid for the high tea package. The kids all dressed up and some adults got in on the fun too, the kids had a lot of fun! The party start time was 9.30am being the first one of the day, the timing was quite off with the party room with food still being brought in at 9.50am. The kids we seated in the room to eat around 10-10.10am after singing and spinning the wheel. At 10.15am I was asked by the party host if we could cut the cake at 10.25am, the kids were still eating so I asked for an extra 5 minutes. I felt the party room was way too rushed. I would recommend an additional 30 minutes (at least) be added to the room before taking it for the next party. I was pulled away from activities with the kids to take all our presents and belongings out of the room, missing the remaining 10 minutes of the kids activity, I really wish this could of been organised better, Iām upset about missing out on the kids to empty the room. I ordered 2x fruit platters for the adults to have which were $55 each!. The fruit that was advertised was not the fruit we received. The fruit on the day was loaded with watermelon, rockmelon, banana, grapes and strawberries which was very disappointing considering the price. Once the activities were concluded and the kids were off playing on the equipment we lost the party host which was unknown on the day, I would recommend a little conclusion āIām finished with your party now, have a good dayā for future parties. The high tea package was beautifully displayed however parents did bring to my attention that if every child was to eat a sandwich or fairy bread some would miss out, the quantity of food was off. Sandwiches, fairy bread, 2x handfuls of hot chips, only 1 fruit skewer per child, however plenty of cupcakes and jam tarts. Overall the kids had an absolute ball, everyone loved the dress up, the play area was great, we loved the variety available for babies and older kids, I would definitely return with a general admission to play however wouldnāt have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI attended this venue today for my nieces birthday party, after looking at their website i thought what a cool and interesting place to have a party....well wasn't that misleading to begin with once we arrive we were greeted by a rude lady who couldn't give us the time of day as she continually referred to my daughter (who was wearing a brightly coloured dress and a headband with flowers on it) as a boy and once corrected did not cease to call her a him. Then once inside we slowly struggled to find a table to accommodate a pram only for me to sit down on a chair covered in a sticky substance that is now all over my shorts. Then I took my daughter into the toddler area only to find it absolutely filthy!! all the equipment was dirty and majority of it broken and faded as if it was seconded hand or extremely old. I thought that this area especially should have a high up keep and replaced when in this state. Then my brother ordered a hot dog nothing fancy just a normal hot dog on a bun with tomato sauce and it took 20 minutes for him to receive this and they weren't even busy. Then as we were watching my niece open her presents my 9 MONTH OLD! was touching the leaves on the tree and the same rude lady from the door came running over and yelled for her not to do it as it would apparently pull this mammoth of a tree completely down....ummm what?? If this is correct then I think you have a massive OH&S issue on your hands as you have young children climbing all over the tree and running around it. After she had left my attention was drawn to a rather large branch that had been duct taped back on!! I would NOT recommend this place to host a party at I would be mortified if I forked out all that money for a place like that!!!!! what is sad is that I have only written about half the things wrong that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am convinced these amazing reviews on this place are fake. My son had his 4th birthday party over the weekend which I paid an extra $279 to have his party superhero themed with a character hosting the party. We were supposed to have Spider-Man but he was unavailable for personal reasons so he was replaced with Wonder Woman. The girl dressed as Wonder Woman could not have been less interested in interacting with the kids and making it fun for them. She spent half the time sitting down yawning and had zero enthusiasm. She did not do the Superhero secret missions that were supposed to be done and could not be bothered entertaining the kids at all. The kids were not even given fresh plates or cutlery to eat their cake and were told to use their jelly spoons (which we had to wipe the jelly off) and given a serviette for the cake. I was also told if I wanted plates for adults I had to pay extra. So why did the kids eat off serviettes and dirty spoons then? When the announcement was made that the centre was closing in 5 minutes, one of my guests overheard Wonder Woman say to our kids in the hall pit ācome on, start tidying up it wonāt take you longā. For the almost $800 I paid for this party it was absolutely not worth it and my guests could not even be offered appropriate utensils to eat. The kids were bored and the Wonder Woman character had no desire to keep them entertained and make it exciting. I asked for a refund of the extra $279 I paid for the character as she did not deliver the service described and I was told no. Stingy stingy company. Definitely will not be...
