I wouldn't say I am a regular but my mother always want to check out her Chinese Herbs and get her Bird Nest drink in the store so we often go whenever I am with her. I personally do not have good experience with the older counter ladies 1 and 2. so they either not friendly at all or talks way too much that I had to wait way longer because they were talking. Being friendly and overly talking is two completely different thing. I understand that being friendly is a part of customer service but being over friendly that you talks forever with the customer before me when the line is so long behind me is just not right. Well that is that.
However, one of the staff was really nice. She was at the counter 3 on that Saturday I went with my mother. The line was way too long and we were shouted at at to move from one line to another, when i refused to go because my mother really needs time to move, she was kind enough to ask me to move into her counter and even apologised to us for waiting. Not that I need an apology, but getting an apology from her when she was not the one causing it was just very nice in a way. You need more stuffs like her. She was very friendly and speak really good English too. For me, it was good to finally meet a cashier from the store that speaks good English. And by friendly I mean, not the bare minimum of being friendly just by saying hello, she was very polite and kind. She was way younger than the other two ladies but the way she talks just ease our anger of being shouted at. Not to mention she works fast too. I kid you not, getting into her lane is like an express service. She also packs our stuff nicely by separating the dry stuffs and frozen stuffs. My mother told me on the same day that she wants to meet the store owner and let them know about this girl at the counter. We went back on the week day later and did not find the young girl. So I decided I would write you a review here so my mother would not mention again and again to tell you so.
Overall, I still shop at your place because you have a lot of products that are well-priced but again, I would head into a different counter from the ladies...
Read moreReplying to the owner's response: That was not the case and that grumpy old lady insist on charging the carry bag. That time I was shopping for $30+ and I had to stuff every single thing in my already full trolley one by one. I know we have to be wise using the plastic bags, but I always recycle everything several times before eventually have to use them for garbage liner. That event was very embarrassing for me in front of other customers. When clarified with the supervisor, she said 'we always charge for carry bags', which was not true as I had been your customers for over 2 years, and they never charged me before. You have to educate your staff, and you have to be consistent with your regulations, not keep on changing and embarrassing your customers in front of others. Staff are friendly and helpful, except for the older lady who was mostly grumpy. I have been shopping there for the last 2 years and found the location is quite convenient. Price wise, average. However lately, they start charging for plastic bags (carry bags) where for the past years, they always provide them for free. Regardless how much you shop there (usually spent around $40+) and how regular you are, they insist on charging the carry bags. Many other shops in Cabramatta provided for free. Well, sorry that I have to go to other competitor shops around the same area. Just for 5 cents you have lost lots of customers who spent hundreds of dollars, coz believe me, many people still need those carry bags as we recycle...
Read moreThe two cashiers in particular, the old lady with a short wavy pixy and the other with a straight bob haircut are so rude. I shop here practically every week, however every time I get to the checkout, I am received with a cold and unwelcoming interaction. I only hear the total amount of my purchase shouted aggressively at me. They throw my groceries around after scanning and sometimes don't even bother to bag my groceries. I am given a bag and simply ignored while they turn around to talk to the other cashier. They are discriminative, judgemental, rude, unpleasant and treat customers like they are there for a free handout of groceries or are up to something sneaky. We are all paying customers, a simple "hello, how are you" and "thank you" would be nice. They have certain products that other small grocery stores don't selI hence why I shop here, other than that, not worth my time and money. I am over the extremely bad customer service by these two who are always at the checkout. When they are there, it's always a bad and...
