Customer Service: 1/5 They charged us $16 for "tea money" despite not bringing us any tea or water to the table. They also didn't serve 2 dishes we ordered but instead brought out and charged us for an extra "deluxe" calamari dish. Lady at the counter is extremely rude and aggressive when I asked about the "tea money" charge. She said she will bring us tea now despite the fact that we had all already finished eating and all the dishes were cleared. As a compromise, I asked her to apply the $16 to takeaway coffee drinks which she refused. She pointed to the sign at the door which I then reiterated that it says "tea money". She then covered it with her hand and said she could just remove that bit from the sign so it would then just say $2 per person, which is clearly misleading and deceptive conduct. After a stand-off, another staff member finally agreed to make us 3 watered down iced coffee which is a rip-off at $6.50 each (we had to top up another $3.50). The sauce plates were dirty and 2 even still had food still stuck on it.

Food: 2/5. We ordered 15 dishes and they were all not very good. We have been to a lot of yum chas across Sydney and this is one of the worst ones. In Cabramatta, Vinh Phat is much better. Only good thing about this place is not much wait for a table but it is probally because the food and customer service are...

Can we talk about how authentic the cantonese flavours are! 🥟

🅿️ for anyone wanting to drive in I would recommend parking on the side street or there is accessible parking near the restaurant. It wasn’t busy when we arrived, shocking for a weekend. I heard if you come during the weekends it’s flat out busy !. There is public transport available from cabramatta station and local buses.

The location is in a great spot where there is heavy foot traffic, it’s close by to all food outlet stores.

The menu is easy to read with recommendations and images being shown. No carts being pushed by aunties.

7/10 for customer service! 9/10 for the yummy food, there is seating inside. But does get compact when busy.

They both have the dine in and takeaway option I would recommend to come early especially if you are wanting to have a seat, it's first come first serve basis. It gets very busy and you’ll have to wait for you to grab a seat.

Price ranges from $6 - $18

I love the ambience of the place, and the vibe. The customer service however was average, but the food was super delicious.

Overall experience 8/10

Tried this place out last Saturday with my brother. We ordered 8 dishes and 2 drinks. Totally worth the 5 stars. It's not a big venue and it's not a cart style. The marking menu is in Chinese so we had to use the picture menu to order. The food came out made to order, fast, hot and fresh. Stand out dishes were the chicken feet and rice paper. Fried squid legs, tripe and veg were really good too. Hargow was nice but I think the regular or even shiu mai may have been better. Crispy bun was light. Only 1 dish was meh and that's the xiao long bao, skip it. Everything looked made in house. Viet coffee was good but the hong kong tea is just lemon tea. May have had some language issues or they kept forgetting when I asked for soy sauce but that's ok. Plenty of waiters. Busy despite the weather but nothing crazy. In total it was about $75 and totally worth it. I wanted to come back...

I'll go for the food, absolutely NOT the Service, three stars purely for the food. Just be prepared for the rudeness of all the staff. Finally I found a restaurant that actually open for breakfast and not brunch. Most places that I like going to, since covid, never reopen early any more. Except this place. Their hours are 0700 to 1600 (close Tuesdays). They have good breakfast yum cha. However, with only one congee, the rest are steamed usual yum cha fare: siu mai, har gao, chicken feet, chung fan, buns. And some sweet options as well. Service is always rude, only one lady speaks English (the cashier), so it's a pity that I don't speak Cantonese. They get things done without the welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Prices are reasonable. However, it is the expense of good service, which makes me wonder if the staff even like their jobs.
