You have the option to swim in the beach if you like waves or swim in the lagoon with no waves and warm water. Great parking area and cafe right next to the carpark which is handy and serve good food. Long stretch of sand and heaps of space. Very child friendly beach.

Always the best place to visit after a long day. Great for kids at certain hours. The sand is almost clean and the water is pretty clean. The carpark easily accesses the Lagoon. The surf Life saving club is very close to the lagoon. The only annoying thing is the constant dog poo along the way due to owners irresponsible behaviour. There is a far too relaxed approach to dogs roaming around pissing on other people's towels and jumping on people with the usual ' don't worry he/ she a friendly' only scratching people s legs , knocking little kids over, chasing scared children, putting their heads in your bags or rolling on your stuff. I have dogs and avoid this place because of other dogs behaviour. Off the leash places can be abused by some dog owners. Overall great during weekdays, especially the morning. Not so good on weekends. Bathrooms and outdoor showers are available in the carpark which you cannot see from the lagoon. There is one half working shower at the lagoon. If there were not so many dog poos I would...

Amazing spot for all ages! Shallow waters in the lagoon perfect for young children. Unfortunately there is a lack of public facilities like toilets and BBQ, and there is only one shaded shelter. Parking seems plenty, there are two carparks from which you can reach the beach and lagoon. We enjoyed our short time there, very interesting how the beach separates the ocean...
