Our captain, Owen, and his first mate were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and hospitable, making us feel right at home on board. The fishing was a phenomenal success, with many kinds of species caught. This was my first time fishing, and Captain Owen taught me how to fish and even hand-reeled a Porgi all by myself. Captain Owen and his first mate even offered to clean and prepare our catch for dinner, even though I was staying at a hotel and couldn't take the catch home.

The sunset tour along the Nassau Harbor and coastline was a truly awe-inspiring experience, with a spectacular view of the Atlantis resort from the ocean. Captain Owen and the first mate expertly navigated the waters and provided us with a narrated tour of the celebrity homes along the coastline. They were incomparable in their knowledge and service, making the experience a true joy. WOW WOW WOW!!! I can’t say enough about the amazing experience our family had with Captian Owen! I can write a whole novel here! He completely made our time with him so memorable and special. I am so happy I found Sea-N-Tings on Google!! It was in the evening when I called Captian Owen and he immediately picked up and was so informative and kind over the phone- he answered all of our questions and told us the day is about us and we can plan the day any way we want. We wanted last minute accommodations given the weather was having tantrums during our stay and going out to the sea made us nervous. After speaking to Captain Owen he assured us that he does his weather watch and will only take us out if he feels 100% that it’s safe. Captian Owen kept me informed regarding the weather the evening before and the next morning. Immediately upon meeting him, our party was embraced by his smile and warm energy! We were a party of 7 with a little 3 year old. Every single one of us (a few being hard to please) could not stop talking about the amazing experience we had with Captain Owen. He was extremely accommodating to us all, especially the little 3 year old! He even got my teen nephew to get in the water and snorkel (honestly, that’s huge). We went to Rose island where we swam with the piggies. The food was amazing there and so were all the trainers and Mr. Wilson! We then went snorkeling (it was breathtaking), we also saw the peaceful turtles. Captian Owen kept assuring us that there is no rush and the day is about us relaxing and enjoying the waters. We hired Captain Owen’s boat through his Sea and Tings Charters for my wife’s recent birthday celebrations. We had such a fantastic experience that we must share our experience of our day at sea so others could experience the joy we felt on the seas around Nassau. We left the dock at noon and got back after sunset, at the very reasonable price. We saw the most beautiful sunset, chilled on pristine, gorgeous beaches, lazed on floating beds and sipped a rum punch, fed swimming pigs, learned about maritime history, felt at home in the company of new friends, caught a black fin tuna, saw it cleaned and had amazing fresh tuna sashimi as the beautiful sun set on the horizon. I have literally never tasted sashimi as fresh and meaty as this. We had been boaters in a previous life but this experience, I can honestly say, may have been one of the best experiences of our married lives!

He has a very, comfortable 35’ fibreglass boat with brand new twin 300 hp outboards and has a toilet below deck for convenience. The boat navigates choppy water comfortably and can easily outrun any storm that may threaten your activities. There is plenty of shade and also sun tanning areas.

Captain Owen and his first mate, Justin are absolutely amazing human beings who are all about making the experience as best it can possibly be for their customers. He will take you wherever you want to go and stay as long as you want. No rush, no timetable. He is a welcoming, warm, gracious, knowledgeable, experienced maritimer and sea captain. He openly shared his experiences on the sea with those of us who wanted to learn. We felt like part of their family. This was such a special experience for us.
