My sister and her kids were visiting from British Columbia this past week and after a shopping trip to Cross Iron Mills, we decided to make a stop at Candy Castle on the way to a family dinner. Wow! First of all, the individual who was working (it was Friday, August 26th close to the end of operating hours) was AMAZING!!! They were extremely welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to help us make our purchases. I happily spent a small fortune at this shop, buying all sorts of fun and new-to-me candies, such as grape flavored Mentos, Dolly Parton cake mix and icing, pineapple flavored gummies, and strawberry lemonade pop (just to name a few)! My sister and nieces also bought lots of exciting treats to take back to BC. We were all throughly impressed with the selection of goodies and with the exceptional service we received! I will definitely be shopping here again, once I get through the mountain of yummy treats in my cupboard 🍬 Thanks again for a wonderful experience,...
Read moreAbsolutely appalling service from this so-called "exotic candy store." I placed an order almost THREE weeks ago, and not only has it not arrived, but it's now TWO WEEKS past the expected delivery date. I’ve tried reaching out to them through email multiple times with ZERO response. To top it off, the phone number listed on their website is OUT OF SERVICE, so there’s literally no way to contact them or get any answers about my order.
This is beyond frustrating. I’ve paid for a product that I still don’t have, and they clearly don’t care about their customers at all. I’m furious at the complete lack of communication and the blatant disregard for my time and money. This is the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had, and I’m DONE. I wouldn’t trust this company to fulfill a single order. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this garbage service. It’s clear they have no business running an...
Read moreI don’t like it as much after the rebrand to “Candy Rocket”. Although now it expanded to have 2 units joined and more stock, but it’s a lot of individual chocolate bars (but just different flavours) and a lot of cereals and chips. The drinks selection seemed to become not as unique as before, some costing $8+. The new owner spoke with me but didn’t know the price of some candy items when I asked. I got a bag of Sun chips for $9 and it was past expiry date, but didn’t know til...
