This was our first time here. I would probably visit once a year, if that. Our kids did have a good time, but; for 2 adults, and 4 toddlers (1, 3, 4, and 5year old) admissions came to $75. It's not really worth the cost in comparison to other facilities with similar play structures. I don't recommend bringing a stroller, because space to store it is limited and you can't take it into the play area. They have lockers and small storage shelves for jackets & shoes. Obviously; they are not responsible for any stolen items. They literally have only 2 high chairs, seating is quite limited, and no water fountain? (This surprised me as I was told its a requirement for these places). The bathroom set up is towards the back. They have lovely sandles you can slip on to slip out into mall restrooms. We all know that buying food at these places is costly and typically sucks. It is costly here but taste is alright. We enjoyed a $45 party platter with 2 dipping sauces. We did purchase drinks as well; iced coffee, canned pop, orange juice and a bottle of water which came to around $25. Many people seem to migrate to the cafeteria area and claim a table as there really isn't many areas to sit. (You're there to have fun with the kids in my mind, so why be sitting) it is a little frustrating when you order food but the cafeteria is full and there literally isn't any seating available anywhere else. We stood beside a short wall to eat, while our tray of food overhang both sides Lots of people like to sit and watch their kids or sit on their PHONES. So grab a table as soon as you get there lol. Staff seemed very nice! It's really pointless to give stamps on each family member though. I am sure this doesn't happen all the time but if you don't have anyone monitoring; anyone can come in and go out??? Safety isn't really there. Another parent allowed our child out the gate as we were leaving. No staff was at the gate. The whole layout seemed to be rushed to complete. Had some great areas but visiblity is obstructed, so seeing what goes on behind the castle part is sketchy. Again you should have fun with your kids but they need to explore as well. Great place for older kids obviously. Again this was our...
Read more,My name is Shaun and I have been coming to Sky Castle play place for the last year, every Saturday, and we usually remain for a couple of hours. I’m here with a teenager that absolutely loves coming to this establishment and he is excited every time we arrive. The reason I continue to bring him back here is for several reasons.
The first reason is the staff at this place continue to provide solid and positive support for all of their patrons from what I can see. One staff member that stands out to me is Janet. Janet has always been a solid support for the youth that I bring here and she always has a smile on her face every time we arrive. Janet is also very positive, on a personal level, towards my teen , when she greets him and welcomes him to the Sky Castle. I only know Janet from coming to Sky Castle and I always get a good feeling when we enter the building. Janet has extreme positive energy and it shows when she deals with her customers.
I love all of the options that the children have here in regards to play areas and my youth seems to take advantage of everything offered when he arrives. I love the bright lighting in the room and all of the different colours. It really makes for a positive atmosphere.
The security they have here is amazing. They always have the front and back entrances staffed so kids are safe coming in and leaving. I also appreciate their stamp system. This involves them giving you a stamp on your wrist that has a matching number with the child you are with. The staff checks this number every time and I feel secure that the child I am with can only leave with me because we have matching numbers.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with Sky Castle. It’s clean, bright and extremely safe for the youth that I bring here and I will continue to come to Sky Castle every weekend as it is a very part of the my youths routine and weekly fun. I feel very safe coming here. Thank you Sky Castle, and especially to Janet, for always making us feel at home when we come to Sky...
Read moreWe frequent a lot of indoor playgrounds around the city and this is one of the few we have not checked out yet but were excited to try after coming to New Horizon Mall for a Halloween event and I was not disappointed. My kids had a blast ALL day here in Sky Castle and their neighbouring mini town. I think we spent about 8 hours here playing arcade games, climbing and exploring, and playing pretend, we even read a couple books! There is lots for kids to keep occupied with here and I felt it was a very enriching experience for them. My only complaints are that there were a few things that were not functioning properly such as arcade games, pressure ball shooters, the chicken thing which my kids were super sad about, and one of the wall games. This is something I have seen at every indoor playground lately not just this place though, so it won’t stop us from trying Sky Castle out in the future again, but it would be nice for everything to be functioning. My kids were also super sad that the electric cars were not functioning or charged but out for them to see and get in and wish to use in mini town. The foam tiles in mini town also either need to be replaced or deep cleaned as they were kinda icky which I guess happens with birthday parties and such happening, but still kinda icky. Those said though, we have encountered some of these issues at other indoor play spaces so it’s not end all be all, but it would be 5 stars if these things were addressed. We had a great day here and it was well worth the drive and money. Such a fun place and unique experience for the little ones. I also really liked that in mini town there was comfortable couches in almost every room to sit on and take a rest while the kids played pretend for a bit. There was many things I haven’t seen before at other spaces around the city that made this place stand out and feel worth while to come back to in terms of playground equipment and toys. I loved that there was books for us to take a calmer moment...
