I just wanted to review The woman named Erin ( not sure if I spelled that right) that helped my mother and I yesterday at Sephora. This was our first time in Sephora and be it quite busy. There was always somebody available to ask questions to or to talk to. My mom and I were discussing the pricing of getting her brows down, when Erin came over and asked if we needed any help. She was incredibly nice, incredibly knowledgeable, + was just genuinely a great person to speak to. She helped my mom figure out what she wanted for eyebrows and then she actually suggested an eyeliner as my mom was talking about the water line and how eyeliner doesn't really stay. Erin started talking about eyeliners. She liked eyeliner. She didn't. + Because my mom was in a scooter and it was a bit tough to move around the store without knocking something over or hitting somebody lol. She went over and got the eyeliner for my mom brought her back and showed her a couple different options. My mom ended up going to the brow bar as well as buying the eyeliner that she suggested. There were a few other people that helped us out as well. I didn't get the name of the one lady who was helping me with an oil cleanser, she had glasses long black hair in a ponytail and she was buzzing around the floor helping everybody so I'm not exactly sure who she was. There was also a person that was tall, with wavy/curly shoulder cut blonde hair and glasses and that came up and asked if I needed help as well when I was looking at product in the skin care section and they were very helpful as well. I didn't get their name unfortunately but they were on the floor as well as the cash register. The last person was the brow bar lady, I misplaced her card but I was told she was the brow lady, her name started with an S....she was also very knowledgeable and friendly. And she did a great job on my mom's eyebrows. Thank you to everyone at Sephora! I bought the wow hair 1 minute transformation cream which is phenomenal I love it, and the pauas choice blackhead cleanser for my nose. I would go back there again, the ONLY negative I would say about the store - which is not something they can change and those poor people that work there that have to deal with it all day -is the overwhelming smell of cologne and perfumes, but I think it's because they are all over the store, not just in one section, so it's really REALLY strong in there. So I would say if you have sensitive smell like I do? Bring a mask or bandanna or something you can wrap around your face lol....you will look silly but at least you can be in there for a while. Thanks again Sephora,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually love this Sephora and will go out of my way to shop here instead of the other ones closer to me in the city. However, today I witnessed a customer asking for help trying to find someone who had helped her and matched her to a foundation using their device and apparently putting it on her account. She asked for help to one of the brand reps thinking it was a Sephora employee, she then re-directed her and I think the customer needed more help than the staff wanted to give because I literally overheard a Dior sales rep ranting to the other brand's rep about how the customer was being too high maintenance because of all the help she needed and how she was making it more complicated than it needed to be. This conversation lasted a good 5 minutes and it wasn't even whispering. I saw other girls who needed help and approached these two but they didn't notice them or stop talking so they walked away frustrated. If you're going to rant about a customer at least do it in the backroom or whisper to each other. Then I finally shade matched myself (I had been shade matched wrong by an employee and was exchanging a Dior foundation) and asked for help as it said they had this shade in stock but there was none on display. I didn't want to ask the Dior rep because she seemed unpleasant from what I witnessed earlier so I asked a Sephora employee. This lady asked me multiple times if the shade I wanted her to look for me was my shade because I look more "neutral" and not "warm" like the shade I wanted. She literally mentioned this multiple times and it kept getting more condescending. The amount of times I have been mismatched by a Sephora employee has been a lot, so I've started matching myself especially when I'm exchanging the foundation they themselves matched me to. I am olive and this happens too often. What bothers me is almost the refusal to just help me with the shade I'm looking for? Like why does this matter to you? What if I said your co-worker was the one to match me to this shade, are you gonna go in a back and forth about this too? Most of Sephora employees are NOT trained makeup artists, and sometimes yes, customers know what works best for them even if you don't agree. Truly love this store, hopefully this is just a one off experience at...
