GRILL PLATTER — Restaurant in Alberta

Okay, this will be a little lengthy: I saw their ad on facebook so thought I’d try it. There was a deal for buy one get one 50% off. When my husband and I ordered the platters, we decided to pay the full amount instead of mentioning the deal, because the price was already so low and the food quantity was a lot, but the owner insisted we pay the price of the deal ANYWAYS. But that’s not the only reason I give it five stars. The reason is the FOOD. DELICIOUS! I have never tasted a Pakistani platter that was actually so good! Was perfect in every aspect. I had the beef kabab platter and my husband had chicken kabab and chicken tikka and everything was SO GOOD. The beef kabab was to die for! I’ll for sure come back and share this with all family/friends. Also, one more note - whenever I go to Pakistani restaurants, they provide salads with only one slice of a cucumber cut in half. Always cheap. Grill Platter’s salad was FULL of cucumber and lettuce! So worth...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was so bad I felt compelled to warn others. The food was absolutely terrible we ordered biryani and chicken strips the food was bland and clearly not fresh. It felt like no care was put into the preparation. The customer service was even worse. The staff was rude, unresponsive, and seemed completely disinterested in helping. We waited over 20 minutes just to get our order.For the price they charge, this level of quality is unacceptable. Poor customer service. Bad food. Strong rbf coming from the woman and the man barely makes eye contact. We were super friendly and didn't even get one smile back after being the only ones in the mall ordering from them. They disappear in to the back constantly and expect you to ring a bell to announce your prescense. The only thing worse then the customer service was the food. The chicken fingers tasted so weird and off. My kids wouldnt even eat them and thats their favorite meal. The batter made them look like chicken feet.
