I highly recommend Star Buds on Grove St. and will attempt to make this review as comprehensive as possible in order to justify my 4 stars. Sorry guys, I wish I could do 4.5.

Service I am always greeted promptly by the staff. When we were all wearing masks, I did get asked for ID once or twice but this only reaffirms the professionalism of their staff. After that comes some version of "Know what you're looking for?" Perfect, already trying to determine a customer's needs or wants. And it usually ends up in some brief but friendly small talk or shop talk, being cashed out and a warm "See ya soon!" In the spirit of fairness, a dress code or uniform would maybe help convey the sense of professionalism a little further. I could see how a first-timer might feel intimidated with no clearly defined staff other than they're behind the counter. Joint-shaped name tags perhaps? 4/5

Product Knowledge I did not include the staff's knowledge of product in the service part of my review because it belongs here. I have always been satisfied with the answers to any of my questions when it comes to discerning my likes and dislikes. Even if I don't know what I want when I enter the store, as I mentioned before I am always asked and if I don't know, they help me figure it out. They are able to give me information that is not on the menu boards and I believe the knowledge to be genuine because in the rare instances in which they don't know, they are honest and upfront. 5/5

Stock I will preface this by stating, I am a regular with expensive taste so the specific items that I wish would be there at all times just simply won't be. However, as far as everything else. I can always get some form of pre-roll, flower, concentrate, edible, drinkable cannabis product with varying degrees of potency. Even the day before their orders come in, I can always walk out happy. 4.5/5 Dab Bods gets you 5/5

So, I cannot in good conscience award 5 out of 5, perfection is a high bar, pun intended. If I could throw a half star onto that 4 I would. Keep up...

Very friendly, professional staff. I've always left this store with exactly what I needed. I have unfortunately had to edit my review for 3 reasons 1) on 4 separate occasions spanning only a few months, and always on a Sunday night, the store was closed 10 to 15min early (including a few weeks ago,, when a manager came to tell me I Cant come in 10+ min before closing). If you are a smoker, a nice joint after a big home cooked Sunday night Family meal( as we do around here) is a traditional way of life in East Barrie. And to be told to my face during buuisness hours no, is unacceptable. 2) Poor hours in general. It makes me wonder if the owner started selling weed for his passion and love and knowledge of the plantt, or is in it for the cold hard capitalist potential this buisness start offers? I tend to think the 2nd. U close at 9 pm on Wed. And 10pm Fri and Sat? Sorry but that is a joke. 3) Your points program allows Me absolutely nothing. So if the Government says u cannot give away weed as perk from points earned, then at least show some gratitude and give us free tee shirts or something.

At the end of the day, I'd almost trainer weed be illegal again. At least mmuy loyalty was appreciated and it was a buyers market, not this ungrateful sellers market we have now.
