My experience of the shawarma place was fantastic for my first few months, good authentic Lebanese food. One day for lunch I got 2 falafels in a deal, enjoyed them so much I went back for 2 more later that same night. Problem is they were made In a rush and they weren’t edible due to being soggy. I emailed in explaining this, and the manager misunderstood what I was saying and said it was because I’d saved it for later! She then got very defensive and said she had to “decipher” my email, which was very clear from the outset. A self escalation if I’ve ever seen one!! She basically turned a loyal repeat customer into someone who doesn’t even want to go back in the shop - which is shame for me as I’m half Lebanese and there aren’t that many options over here. The original issue wasn’t so bad but the managers dealing of it was abysmal. To top it off the only thing I’m being offered now is a cash refund when I paid by Apple Pay. I told her to put the cash in the tip jar, hopefully she’s picked up some tips on how to deal with customers as well....
Read moreWhat would've been a one-star review turn into a FIVE-STAR review for good. When I walked in 2 hours before closing, I was told they had no more beef and chicken shawarma left. When I asked what they can do about it, the worker told me "nothing, sorry" but the owner came out to explain that there was a late delivery and that he would prep and cook the meats himself. The owner not only apologized, but started adding a few extras on top of that. The food was AMAZING as the beef was juicy and chicken was tender and soft. There were PLENTY in portions, and the garlic + hummus were FRESH and tasted homemade. That compassionate gesture all in the name of customer service made me appreciate the owner's efforts that much more. The food was fantastic overall, and the customer service was even better. This place is HIGHLY...
Read moreThe chicken shawarma wrap combo was an incredible deal. It's a pretty big wrap, stuffed with a ton of chicken, and a nice variety of toppings. The fries are really good and crispy, and it comes with a drink too. I got a bunch of samosas as well and it still came well under $20, even including a tip.
The place was super busy and there were just two people working so there was a bit of a wait, but they communicated that up front and let me know where I was in line along the way, and they were both incredibly friendly.
The only slight negative was that the samosas were good but not great, but I still think they deserve a 5 star review despite that. I'll...
