DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE
In short: (if I can - there's ALOT of things wrong with this business) Not organized - they got my order wrong twice & each time it took them weeks to correct it Require everything (including the overpriced delivery fee) to be paid in full weeks before furniture is actually delivered. Extremely rude delivery service Sales associate I dealt with, Rose, was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I called her because the delivery people never showed up her reply was, "That's not my problem, you're order is non-refundable. You can deal with the delivery people". (Like WHAT?! What type of business operates like that???) Furniture was delivered 1 week after they initially said they would deliver it AND 6 hours later than the time they arranged to come at. After you hand over the money to this store they don't care about you or your furniture anymore. They'll even hang up the phone on you if you call to inquire essential questions like when your order will be delivered? or why wasn't the other chest I paid for delivered? (YES this actually happened).
The quality of furniture is just as terrible as the customer service. The absolute worse part is the delivery service, not only do they charge an additional $100 for the most impolite and unprofessional delivery people but Dreamland refuses to take any accountability for the incompetancy of the delivery service they hire. I was first called and told my furniture would be delivered at 3pm, then they said 4pm, then 5pm until it was past 8pm and they said they'll be there in ANOTHER hour. I can understand the hour or 2 delay but 6 hours?? When I live 15 minutes from their store? Rose, who sold me the furniture from Dreamland didn't care of course, she even hung up the phone on me when I called to find out if I will ever get my furniture. I had already (as per their insistance) paid for everything, so she got her commission and clearly did not care about her customers or even if they received their goods. The lack of ethics and unprofessionalism of Dreamland and their employees truly astounds me. I know ordering and getting furniture delivered is usually a hassle but Dreamland makes it 10x more unbearable, save yourself the stress and just go to any other furniture store (I'm sure there's one around the corner from Dreamland). Read moreI purchased a 3 piece leather recliner couch from Dreamland Furniture. When I purchased the product, the company delivered faulty products to me. All of the three pieces had issues. After much complaint, I was forced to rent my own truck to take their product back for repair work. It took the company nearly two weeks to have the products repaired. Once the products were repaired, I had to rent the truck again to go pick up the products. The company refused to have their delivery staff come pick up the product. Within 3 weeks of getting the repaired product, the recliner couch stopped working again, the love seat makes a loud sound and the chair buttons don't work properly. I have been in communication with Dreamland for nearly two weeks. My experience in the past two weeks has been horrendous. They either ignore all my phone calls, if i'm lucky, they will answer and make excuses that they can't get a hold of the distributor to have the product be picked up. I'm at a point now that Dreamland is refusing to pick up the product and is demanding that I again pay from my pocket to have the products transported to their distribution center for repair work. I have a one year warranty and if the company is giving me faulty products, it is their responsibility to have their team pick up the faulty products and have it repaired and returned. Right now I have been on hold the call with Dreamland Furniture for nearly 2 hrs. 1.5 hrs on hold. This is unacceptable. The company clearly doesn't care about it's customers. Once the product is sold, they don't answer your calls and push you around when there are issues with their product. I bought the product by finding their ad on Facebook market. They were very responsive to messages early on. But now, they refuse to respond to my messages. I have been talking to their manager Rose on the phone. I have also asked to have my issue escalated to the owner, she has indicated that the owner doesn't talk to customers and I can write an email which may not be responded to. I am being literally bullied by the company.
I just need the company to take their product and repair it. If not, give me my money back. This is...
Read moreProfessional scammers. I made a deposit over WhatsApp/etransfer. I never signed the invoice and had a change of mind after seeing the furniture in person. Was told by the older gentleman working there, that if I didn’t like what I saw, they would refund my deposit or to hurry and make a decision because it was the last day of the sale. I even looked around for alternatives, but nothing seemed worth it. I said I would come back with my boyfriend, but decided to just take my deposit back instead because the energy was just off and the gentlemen said I only had that night to choose. So, I told the gentlemen, I would just take my deposit back. He said he himself cannot process it and that I would have to contact the person whom I arranged the deposit with, which was Rose. I said okay and contacted her the next day.
When I called Rose, she tells me there’s no refund and then sends me an invoice I didn’t sign, stating so. Mind you, she never sent me the invoice when I made the deposit and never stated that it was a final sale. She said I should’ve asked, but as a company it’s equally her responsibility to inform customers. She deliberately made sure she didn’t inform me, to blindside me. That’s probably why she never sent me the invoice after I made the deposit, in the first place.
I explain my encounter with her employee and she explained that he is fairly new. After talking to him, she said he never said that. Like WOW! If she played her camera back and listened to the audio, she would hear him clearly telling me they would give me my deposit back.
I’ve called numerous times, asking nicely and reminding her that I never signed the invoice so the terms aren’t binding. She repeatedly put me on hold to ignore me and then hung up on me after saying she’s not giving me my money back.
I never even took the product from the store or had it delivered. Never touched it so I don’t understand or feel that I was treated respectfully when I was lied to and blindsided.
