King Tandoori Kennedy — Restaurant in Brampton

Finally decided to write a review of this place. King Tandoori has always had very consistent food taste which is what I love the most about it. Lunch times are usually nice and quiet.

I like: Good food with amazing taste Very reasonable prices Decent atmosphere Service sub par

What can be improved: Seats are ripped and the cushions that have rips they have taped the damage with duct tape or packing tape They give you kirkland water bottles as a standard thing so they can avoid giving glasses and water jugs. I don't mind the water bottles but the first time i went there i assumed that they were doing the bottles due to COVID and I didn't know they charge for it. Fast forward couple of years later and they still give you the water bottles. They still CHARGE .50cents per bottle. I know, it's only 50cents and its not going to break my bank. My thing is about the principle. If you are going to charge people for something then let them know they they are not free or replacement of standard water glass.

I have been to several restaurants recently and with things going back to normal and all restaurants provide water in a glass when you ask for it and there is NO CHARGE for it.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time.

I arrived at King Tandoori by Kennedy in Brampton at 8:00 PM, placed my order at 8:10 PM, and didn’t receive all my food until 10:20 PM. Despite arriving earlier than other guests, I noticed others receiving their food and drinks well before me. I had to repeatedly remind the servers about my order, yet the delays persisted.

Adding to the frustration, the servers brought three bottles of water to our table without being asked. We assumed it was complimentary, as no mention of a charge was made. It wasn’t until we reviewed the bill while splitting it that we discovered we were charged for the bottled water. If we hadn’t questioned it, we likely would never have known. This lack of transparency felt dishonest and left a bad impression.

To make matters worse, the first dish didn’t arrive until over 50 minutes after ordering, and that only happened after we reminded the staff. While the servers weren’t outright rude, the service itself was abysmal.

All in all, this was a deeply disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone if this is the standard of service...

I recently visited king tandoori restaurant and had a memorable dinning experience. Server name was Jaisleen kaur she served very well. We feel very comfortable while having dinner there and the food was delicious. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. The lighting was perfect, creating a cozy and intimate setting.

From the moment we arrived, Jaisleen kaur was very friendly with us. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. She was prompt in taking our orders and ensured that our glasses were always filled.

Despite being busy, the restaurant managed to serve our meals in a timely manner. We didn't have to wait long between courses, and the entire dining experience was well-paced.

The restaurant was clean, including the dining area, restrooms. This attention to cleanliness added to our overall comfort.
