eZ Rolls Ice Cream — Local services in Burlington

Firstly I love ice cream. I also like to try new things. I saw ez rolls ice cream and finally got to try it. 3 of us went there. Ages 28 48 and 85. I really wanted to like this. The concept seemed good and the variety of flavors and ice creams sounded good. We ordered 3 of these and had to wait while each was made separately. By the time the 3rd person got theirs the first person was almost done.

Well how was it? I really wanted to like this but none of us did. I got the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and there was virtually no flavour in the ice cream. The toppings sounded good but huge disappointment. The caramel topping was a little drop.. The Rocher topping was not a ground up topping but one whole rocher buried in the ice cream. The sliced almonds were skimpy. The marshmallow topping was not a marshmallow spread but a few miniature marshmallows thrown on top. Nothing was integrated with the very hard and cold ice cream.

All three of us thought it was a total waste of money. We actually all regretted not going for a Blizzard or Creme de la Creme downtown.

I am not sure why all of the 5 star reviews. Maybe it's a cultural thing and our taste buds don't appreciate these flavors or maybe reviews are from friends of the owners but I even struggle giving a 2 star review.

Will never go back but glad we did try this. We honestly wanted to like it but the 3 of us all independently were very disappointed.

We’ve been waiting for this place to open since the sign went up. Finally got to go tonight and we were not disappointed. Ice cream was DELICIOUS. So many options to choose from which may cause difficulty for some - but in a good way! It took about 10 minutes for us to get our order for 3 people so be patient if there’s a line. Lots of staff that are presumably still learning the trick to getting that roll to happen but they were all happy, pleasant and had smiles on their faces. Our only request which isn’t a jab at the shop by any means was to maybe get some benches outside so you can sit and enjoy your dessert. We would have loved to have been able to sit outside the shop and enjoy the weather but with nowhere to sit we headed on home. Again this isn’t a jab at the place, just a hopeful suggestion. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our rolled ice cream. My daughter had been dying to go somewhere like this for ages so we’re happy there’s finally one right here in our beautiful city to enjoy...

Heard about this place from friends, and took the family here after supper. Great ice-creams with all sorts of exotic flavours. Very friendy staff too. Was a perfect summer night's treat - Our kids absolutely loved their ice-creams.

They have one standard size, a large cup, which fits 5-6 of their ice-cream rolls. If you've just had a meal, and/or you're watching your sugar intake, then probably 2 adults could share one cup and still feel very satisfied. Else kids (pre-teens or older) will love the generous cup size and have no trouble finishing it at leisure.

This place is now on our list of local foodie attractions to bring out-of-town friends/relatives. Thanks,...
