The coffee was excellent! Has both a late with coconut milk and a brewed black coffee, both delicious. All their baked goods are made in house so I indulged with a ginger molasses cookie and it was delicious. I haven’t eaten the other food yet, but it looks like if you’re vegetarian there’s at least some pizza options for lunch. You might struggle as a vegan, or Glen free.
The board game selection is smaller but has good variety of classics, genres, time, and ease. What I really liked is that there were a good amount of two player options, also making this perfect for a date spot.
We went from 1pm to about 4pm on a Friday and it was quiet. Not sure about outside of work hours, but there is still a lot of spacing so you’re not going to be top of each other even if it is.
I will say, neither good or bad, the place has a very wholesome aesthetic, and will definitely be family friendly, but maybe not as conducive to hyper competitive, smack talking friends. There is Christian religious iconography around as well, but as an atheist it didn’t really bother me but it may for others.
I don’t remember our total bill, but a large mug of regular brewed coffee, it’s $3.50. The veggies and dip were $8.50. Coffee is about right for a specialty cafe, the veggies are definitely overpriced but were excellent quality fresh produce (not bought from some precut platter from a local grocer sitting for a while). There were a couple dips too, so while definitely pricier you do get better quality than you would for sale elsewhere.
I forget how much the cookie I got was, but it was delicious, and was the bakers friend’s grandma’s recipe! Which fits the homey, wholesome atmosphere.
We’ll definitely be...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at this coffee shop today. I visited with my son and ordered an Americano for myself and a hot chocolate for him. Based on our previous visits, the hot chocolate normally comes with marshmallows and whipped cream on top. However, when they served it this time, these toppings were missing.
When I politely inquired about this, the staff rudely informed me that we would need to pay extra for these toppings. I explained that they should have asked us if we wanted these extras when placing the order, especially since they were included previously. Their response was completely unprofessional.
When I mentioned that I would leave a review about this experience, the situation escalated dramatically. The couple working at the counter (apparently the owners) told me they didn't like my "tone" and demanded that I leave the establishment immediately. They literally kicked us out of their shop! My son was very upset by this treatment, and I was so angry that I left without our drinks.
I've never been treated so poorly at a coffee shop before. The lack of communication about menu changes, the rude attitude when questioned, and then forcing us to leave - all of this demonstrates terrible customer service. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and will not...

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to create a great experience. They even host fun events like a weekly hot chocolate buffet, which adds to the community feel.
The food and drinks are also a highlight—the carrot muffins are a must-try, and they pair perfectly with a latte. We also enjoyed some delicious sandwiches and other great treats!!
