Joe's African & Caribbean Market Inc. — Local services in Burlington

This is such a hidden gem in Burlington! I have visited about 4-5 times and have ordered a variety of their soups from their hot table. Every single time the food is hot and fresh. The staff works very fast to give you your food as well, I have never waited long. The food is always very flavourful and spicy it’s addicting. I would say the portion is very good. The amount of soup and fufu they give is quite generous. Thank you Joe’s African & Caribbean Market for helping me fall in love with West African Cuisine. I’ve tried the Efo-Riro, Okra soup and now I’m having the palm butter soup with pounded yam. I hope this place gets the recognition...

I’ve frequented Joes since the previous location on John St, it wasn’t always convenient to me because of parking. I was pleased to see that they’ve relocated to a larger location with parking. As for the store it was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the specific cultural items were in stock and I feel that the prices are reasonable. Customer Service is terrible. They keep hair behind cahier. I asked to see the hair extensions from behind the counter, the girl at the shop said she cannot get up! Wow, how do I see what am to buy. She said she can't get up. I said your at work, she answered.. I'm not to be here. So why have a business with people who don't want to work!
