Stellar, Unparalleled Service!
Last year, at this same time, I was pondering options about who could cater our church Christmas party. A friend referred Bon Ton and I can't begin to expound on the amazing service that I have received from first contacting Greg Keller (manager) last year to today, when chatting with him about life, travel, and of course - catering with Bon Ton once again for our party this December.
Without embellishment, Greg is the most charming, helpful, kind, go an extra two miles for your customer kind of manager, and just an all around amazing human being. He represents Bon Ton wonderfully which is why I call him Mr. Wonderful (not to be confused with the money-hungry guy on Shark Tank lol).
Last year, we ordered a full turkey meal. The turkey breast (which is known to be notoriously dry) was moist and succulent and there was plenty of food. This year it will be beef and chicken, and I have no doubts it will be delicious, because Bon Ton has a high standard of excellence.
To add to my accolades, I would like to thank Greg and Bon Ton for not only their superior service and quality food, but for doing it at a price point for our church which was more than reasonable - it was magnanimous! They genuinely care about service, product and above all else - the customer.
Greg and Bon Ton - you get my highest praise and my referrals and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI think this place is good to go to get meat products, hence the name. I haven't tried everything yet. It is really out of the way for me, so I've only been in a few times.
First time I went in, I got some jerky and I find it decent.
Second time I went in, I was in the area and decided to check out some of the other stuff. I originally was intending to go to Cheesecake Cafe, but I noticed they had cheesecake and desserts. So it really saved me a trip, I decided to get some. 3/4 pieces were cheesecake slices, 1/4 was some floured cake slice. But unfortunately, the only cake piece I did finish, was the strawberry floured cake. The cheesecakes themselves were terrible, I didn't like any of them. I was caught off guard when I noticed one of them was even worst than the others because it had like shredded coconut in the crust? I don't consider coconut to be edible, so that was obviously traumatizing. I didn't finish the first bite, I had to spit it out. That was pretty bad, I won't be getting them again...
Third time I went in, I got some more jerky and a smoked turkey leg. For taste, it was much less flavorful than I expected it to be. I give it a neutral rating.
Next time I go in, I will try some different things. I think I will stick with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI remember when we were kids in the late 60s and 70s, my mom would bring us downtown and the first stop was in Bon Tons on Centre Street and 7th Ave SW. we would always get meat pies. Stopped in at the market in Crowfoot this afternoon craving their meat pies. So disappointed - very salty - I like salt but this was so bad. Friendly staff but awful meat pies. Even crust is not the same š£ At least my dog is enjoying his beef bone.
Okay above review was from Sat, Aug 17th. In addition, Mon. Aug 19th, to their meat pie, I also purchased a chicken pie And a large blueberry pie. First piecrust totally suck on all pies worst piecrust ever. As mentioned above, the beef pie was very salty, and the chicken pie was not any better. Yesterday, when I cut into the blueberry pie, there was a dragonfly Inside the filling. It totally grossed me out that I had puked And tossed out the blueberry pie. What a waste, the blueberry pie, two beef pies, and two chicken pies in the trash. Blueberry pie was $11 and the total for the two Chicken and two beef pies came out to I was 20 bucks. It was $30 in the garbage. I will never ever go back so very disappointed...
