Dollarama — Local services in Calgary

Your manager, the short native lady, with the glasses and yellow sweater is a real piece of work. One of the rudest people I have ever encountered in customer service in my entire life. Not only does She have a really bad attitude problem but she’s SO rude. I was doing some last-minute shopping before Christmas and I haven’t been to this Dollarama before but it was on my way home so I thought I would stop in. I didn’t know my way around the store. So I asked her for help and when I approached her, she wasn’t very friendly at all basically gave me a death stare like I was bothering her. I asked her where the one product was that I was looking for, and she told me where it was… But I kept coming back multiple times and asking her because the stores huge and I didn’t know where anything was and her response was

“ I have a job to do. I’m not a personal shopper. I can’t be running around looking for stuff all day when I have work to do”.

And then, while I was shopping, five minutes later, I overheard her talking to her employees telling them how much she hated customer service and that she doesn’t even want to work in customer service? Why are you then? If you’re that miserable working in customer service, go work somewhere else.

Zero stars or less! Never go to this location on 2500 4 St SW! Used to be very good, but today May 6 at 2:30pm, when at the till a man (who self identified as the manager, hopefully he lied for the good of the store) was way rude! Ignored my greeting and asked me to pay one second after ringing through the last item. I had no time to start packing up myself (he didn't offer any help for pack out), I had glassware, he didn't paper wrap it, I asked for wrapping paper, he threw it on the countertop, he didn't wrap anything, I let him know how bad his service was, he didn't apologize at all. The only good thing he did was giving me back some crackers I bought and he kept far on the countertop, before I left. Sorry, Dollarama 2500 4 St SW, having a "manager" like that one, makes me not to buy anything else there and I will advice...

I LOVE Dollarama! But wow, this was a nightmare experience! Wish there was a 0 star rating! A horrible woman at the cash register was super bossy and rude. Their credit card machine didn’t work after I went to buy more with a second transaction. I asked if they could try another machine that seemed like a huge request since she snapped at me, threw my items on the next counter, tried to say she rang in the right amount, when she overcharged me!
