Went there the first time and the employees were so nice! The guy helping us was super nice and friendly. The guy making chocolates came out with the biggest chocolate egg just to show us. It was the first time I spend this much money on chocolate but it was so worth it. At first I wasn't going to buy any and was only companying a friend that LOVED them. I asked myself "what was so special about these chocolates??" They gave me a sample piece and i fell in love and bought a whole box. The chocolates are really special, not only are they beautiful they all have different unique tastes. My favourite is the lycée one. I mostly bought the box to share with my friends and they also loved it. I wouldn't go there everyday, but once in a while for a treat because they're pretty pricey.

I received a gift box of beautiful chocolates for the holidays. First off, the box itself is designed in a way to be eye-catching and colorful. It truly stands out compared to other items that you would see in the chocolate industry. The different types of flavours are another story, too! So incredibly unique and beautiful. It doesn’t even look like you can eat them! But I definitely recommend you should. 😉 The only thought i would have is to provide a little bit more clarity on the website to determine which chocolate is white. There’s a few different versions of “chocolate maps” and unless you’re more familiar with the line, it can be hard to figure out how the four different tones of blue align with a particular flavour itself 😉

Really cozy and quaint chocolate shop. It's been open about a year. They have lots of seasonal goodies such as Easter eggs and Chocolate Snowballs (pictured) - which are hot chocolate balls that you melt in about 4 cups of hot milk, brilliant idea! Great selection of chocolates as well. They have prepackaged gift sets or a make your own. There are a handful of kinds that are award winning as well, so be sure to try them out. They also have chocolate bars and baking chocolate available. This is an upgrade since a couple months back when they first opened. They are definitely increasing their selection and offering unique chocolates as time goes by. Definitely recommend!

Let me start by saying that I am certified in both chocolatiering & mastering chocolate flavor. I have enjoyed chocolates from around the world both from the comfort of my own home and during my travels. I am passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to chocolate and I can confidently say The Chocolate Lab’s bonbons are some of the best I’ve EVER experienced. They are delicate, beautifully crafted, and always have well balanced flavors. You can tell the team does their fair share of R&D and that they’re truly dedicated to their craft. The owners are absolutely delightful as well! Shocking to see some of the other reviews on here that seem to be left by scorned folks who perhaps didn’t get their way and decided to throw a temper tantrum in review form. Reviews that can make or break a small business. In my (chocolate educated) opinion, anyone who says the bonbons or any of their chocolate products don’t taste good either 1) have zero idea what quality chocolate actually tastes like or 2) may want to get their tastebuds checked. Also, anyone who complains about pricing should take a course on how cacao is sourced, how chocolatiers can support better working conditions for cacao farmers, how chocolate itself is actually made, and how to temper, mold, and fill bonbons as flawlessly as this company does. The Chocolate Lab and its incredible staff get a...

Really great chocolates and really reasonably priced especially considering the quality. Only negative comment pertains to customer service. If a customer asks what time the store closes, just say the time. That's it nothing else is necessary. Saying something like:"the sign says 7 o clock" could be misconstrued as rude. Especially considering in the case of my 12 year old daughter asking when we are at the back of the store and the sign is at the front of the store. But the when the person working at the store says it with a certain tone and everyone in the store at the time looks at each other like "what's up with this guy?"we interpreted that transaction as rude. Other than that the guy was courteous thus a 4...
