I really love this coffee shop, it's just a shame its a little hidden but it just makes it that much more special and exclusive! My favourites to order are their chai lattes and white chocolate mochas (omg, such a great treat drink!) and their baked goods and food are really great. They support other local businesses in shop which I also love, it's just overall a great little hidden gem cafe in the neighbourhood of Mt. Pleasant. (Photos are of their YYC HOT CHOCOLATE FEST entry and holy cow it was good).

The chef is is so talented. I've been here 4 times in the last few months since I discovered them through the yyc hot chocolate festival and I keep looking for excuses to run errands in the area so I can stop by. The espresso brisket sandwich is to die for, the chicken paprikash on brown rice equally delicious. They have tasty house made dips and spreads, take home meals and soups and adventurous cafe offerings as well and very reasonably priced. A hidden yyc gem for sure.

Came for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised with this little cafe! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well! I got their pumpkin spice latte half sweet (puts Starbucks to shame) with a vegan dahl (big portion- I took half of it home!) Would definitely recommend and come visit again. Also customer service was great she offered to try it just in case I wouldn’t like it :)

♿️ i'm giving i two stars because the front door is accessible for wheelchairs. well, at least in theory. But that door is unuseable because you have to pull it towards you to open it. No wheelchair user can do that!

I've come here a couple of times with the intention of going in. But each time I leave in frustration. The staff cannot see the front door from their work location, and there's no way to get their attention. They don't even publish their phone number on the door so I can call them.

Then I noticed that the John's breakfast on lunch right across the street is ACCESSIBLE and the door is wide open. And I'll bet their coffee is cheaper. So I went...

This place has THE BEST cafe food in town hands down, if not some of the best food. It's all made from scratch and has that nice home cooked feel. Also has a nice wide selection of teas, from Rooibos, green teas to black teas. House-made kombucha is available during certain seasons and their fresh fruit cold drinks are perfect for the summer.

Just eat here, get something to go, or just... EAT here. Seriously, you are making a mistake if you don't. There's lots of options for vegetarians/vegans as well.

Edit: They've updated their decor and it's great. More seating areas with more open feel. They also updated their coffee to Phil & Sebastian and...

I eat here alMost everyday! The food is delicious and always fresh made. Personally, the Calzones are better here than what I had in Southern Italy but that’s my opinion. I have ordered catering a few times and the food is always so fresh and tasty, as well as delivered on time. I absolutely live this cafe and it’s a must try if you’re ever in the neighbourhood. Oh and you simply must drop by for the Saturday breakfast buffet!! It’s probably the best buffet I’ve ever had! Can you say all you can eat bacon!?...
