Just went to see Jurassic Park today, 1st time @ this theatre. I was so impressed by the staff, the gentleman working was just so friendly & genuine I really appreciated it, he made my day. The ladies at the concession were so efficient and friendly with the group of boys in front of us, very helpful! The theatre itself was sweet and quaint, very well maintained, bathrooms well kept, popcorn was great. The cherry on top was the gentleman again who took the time to ask me if I liked the show when we were leaving. Thanks for making my 1st time here a memorable one. It gets 4-stars because I live in Courtenay and have to deal with the Rialto. Because of that, if this theatre showed movies from DVD and had comfortable chairs, it would still get at least 3-stars.

The front end staff is quick as they can be and friendly and the seating in the theatre is nice.

My only beef is with the ticket booth. They only open one booth regularly, and if an extremely popular film is showing and I want to see the third most popular movie that night, I better show up 2 hours early for my ticket or else I'll be trapped in a line that wraps around...

the prices are a bit over priced in my opinion and i also don't see why we can bring are own candy and drinks in I feel as if that's just a way for them to make you buy the overly price candy that in reality is probably less then a Doller this i why most people wait for the movies to come out in DV then going to the theater i mean not all people can afford candy and pop from the theater i mean you probably make alot already by selling tickets and popcorn but fine see it your way but this is just my opinion but alot feel the same way i do about the...
