Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Campbell River

I have been disgusted at how a fantastic female employee named Marianne (with red hair) is treated by the manager and trainees. I am shocked to hear them swear and verbally abuse her in front of customers for example, a tall thin new trainee was verbally abusing her in front of customers and not reprimanded! On another occasion the female manager screamed at Marianne for helping an almost deaf woman, by speaking louder at the woman's request. Marianne is the only reason we have gone to this location, everyone remembers her kindness, exceptional service and shining attitude. They'd be smart to put this girl in a managerial position and get rid of the people who are incapable of showing respect, courtesy and basic human decency. How is is possible they...

Shocking to witness—unacceptable behavior by staff. I was in line at this Tim Hortons when I saw something that really disturbed me. The person ahead of me ordered a veggie wrap, but the employee (Shiela) gave them a chicken wrap instead. When they brought it to her attention, she didn’t make a new one—she literally just picked out the chicken and added some veggies into the same wrap.

As someone standing right there, I was appalled. That’s incredibly disrespectful to vegetarians and shows a total lack of care for proper food handling. It was honestly disgusting to watch. Visiting from out of town I popped into this Tim Hortons to get a coffee and treated myself to two sour cream Tim Bits. OMG, melt in your mouth good…wished I got ten. Ordered the same two Tim Bits in my home town; sickly sweet and not fresh. Next visit to Campbell River, I went back to Tim Hortons Merecroft Village mall, had two sour cream Tim Bits, and again, perfection. I told Katie, who served me, how I specifically stopped at this Tim Hortons hoping it wasn’t just a fluke. She said, no fluke, that’s Lance, he insists on excellence in his baking. Well, it shows!!!
