Man, I don’t think words can truly express how amazing this place is. As someone who travels often and has eaten at countless restaurants around the world as a Google reviewer, I’ve had the privilege of trying some of the best cuisine in many different cities and countries. I make it a point to always order similar types of dishes at different places so I can compare and really get a sense of who does it best and let me tell you, this place absolutely blew me away. I ordered the lamb chops, and my goodness… these were hands down the best lamb chops I have ever had in my life and that is not an exaggeration. From the moment the plate arrived, you could tell a lot of care and thought went into the presentation. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water before I even picked up my fork. The chops were cooked to absolute perfection beautifully tender, juicy, and seasoned with such skill that every bite was a perfect balance of flavor. The seasoning was bold yet refined, elevating the natural taste of the lamb without overpowering it. Each bite practically melted in my mouth. I’ve honestly never cleaned up a plate as thoroughly as I did here I mean, the dishwasher probably didn’t even have much to do after I was finished. That’s how good it was. What really stood out to me wasn’t just the food itself, but also the experience as a whole. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish without being overbearing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a date night, a family dinner, or even just treating yourself to a fantastic meal. This is the kind of place that reminds you what dining out is supposed to feel like not just eating food, but enjoying an experience, a memory you’ll want to talk about long after. I absolutely, highly recommend this restaurant and especially the lamb chops if you’re unsure what to order. You will not regret it. They have truly set a new standard for me when it comes to what lamb chops should taste like and honestly, I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu. We went online to find a Greek restaurant and went to Ouzo Taverna on a wim ( Richards Pub). Once inside we wernt sure about the place. Only a few ppl at tables BUT!!! We took our table and a waitress greated us and asked us if we wanted a drink. Once drinks were brought, we looked at menu. I tried the rack of Lamb, and my wife had the briam lamb dinner. While waiting the owner came out with 2 shot glasses and poured us a couple of shots before our meal arrived. And here's the best part. We shared a homemade Ceasar salad, then after our dinner came. The best I mean the best lamb chops melt in your mouth, with a small Greek salad, boiled potatoes but done in a zest flavor and a orange rice to complete the dinner. There was no skimping in the amountof the dinner. We ended up taking some of it home as you just couldn't leave it. It was fabulous👌. I am giving this place one star.

What was good about this experience. The service albeit slow was friendly. The bartender/server was the only front house staff member for about an hour. The burger was good and the drinks reasonably priced.

The nachos were $26.75! They were not worth it! They were burnt in places, did not have much cheese, although they had a fair amount of onion, tomatoes, and olives.

It’s covid, there was an adjacent table beside us. It was fine at first because no one was sitting there. Then some folks sat there. I don’t think that the Covid restriction of 2 metres apart was maintained. Given the diversity of folks at that table, I also doubt they were all from the same household.

When I went to pay, the owner told me the gift card would not be accepted because the card was older (5 years) and he was a new owner. As gift cards are like cash and the place is still Richard’s pub it should have been honoured. It was not. When I complained about nachos was told I shouldn’t have eaten them (we ate half) to which I said I thought they would be covered by my gift card.
