Having visited this historic location on multiple occasions, I found today's visit to be particularly engaging due to the warm welcome extended by the receptionist and staff of the Building and Planning department, complemented by the tastefully decorated surroundings in keeping with the festive holiday season.

Read moreThe only reason for a handicapped person like myself to visit the post office, is because the mail delivery people are to lazy to walk down four houses to deliver a package! Instead they just fill out an attempted delivery card, and then it's left in the mailbox! I am home every day all day, the only time I have had something delivered to my door is thru express post, even then I had one parcel left at the post office with no attempt to deliver. Why am I or the people sending me items paying for express post when it's up to me to go and get the package from the post office, when I can't get around very well! Victoria Hall edifice located at the centre of the King Street in Cobourg is one of the monuments which preserves rich history of Canada. It is magnificent from outside, presently closed but will definitely come back to take a tour once it is open.
