Having visited this historic location on multiple occasions, I found today's visit to be particularly engaging due to the warm welcome extended by the receptionist and staff of the Building and Planning department, complemented by the tastefully decorated surroundings in keeping with the festive holiday season.

Cobourg (/ˈkoʊbɜːrɡ/ KOH-burg) is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in Southern Ontario 95 km (59 mi) east of Toronto and 62 km (39 mi) east of Oshawa. It is the largest town in and seat of Northumberland County. Its nearest neighbour is Port Hope, 7 km (4 mi) to the west. It is located along Highway 401 (exits 472 and 474) and the former Highway 2 (now Northumberland County Road 2). To the south, Cobourg borders Lake Ontario. To the north, east and west, it is surrounded by...

I hope you can appreciate my rant, i am seriously frustrated and disappointed in our canada...

Victoria Hall edifice located at the centre of the King Street in Cobourg is one of the monuments which preserves rich history of Canada. It is magnificent from outside, presently closed but will definitely come back to take a tour once it is open.

I strolled down the streets and was simply mesmerized by the several 18th century architecture and heritage buildings in this city such as St. Peter’s Anglican Church, St. Michael the Archangel Church, University building...
