September 30, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As we continued our bike journey to the east from Cobourg Marina, we stumbled upon Victoria Park, a picturesque and well-maintained beachfront destination. The beach itself was a sight to behold, immaculately clean and inviting. Within the vicinity, I noticed the presence of well-kept washroom facilities and a convenient water refill station, which is always a welcome sight for travelers. For families with young children, Victoria Park provides a delightful playground and a water park, ensuring endless fun and entertainment. The park boasts numerous seating areas, and I couldn't help but notice families happily relaxing on the sandy shores right by the water's edge.

Read moreBe careful parking here. After driving around for 30 minutes I saw a lot with metered parking with spots available, paid my 20 parking fee and went to the function I was attending. I did not notice the incredibly large sign to the left side of the lot that said residents only. Got an $160 parking ticket to go with my $20.00 parking fee which is somewhat parasitic way to treat tourist who may not be familiar with the area. The other town attraction I am told is the old town jail that's now an hotel. Somewhat fitting as the town council who approved a fine like that...
Read moreParking is pay and display now around the park. I was on a motorcycle. I asked a by law officer who was checking tags if motorcycles are free. NOPE! I asked him well how are we supposed to display the parking slip on a motorcycle? Someone can walk by and remove it. He told me you have to figure that out and it's a $160 ticket. Of course when we return to bike parking slip is gone. Congrats to the cheap lowlife that parked on my dime. Not a great spot for a local to enjoy as it's packed with people...
