Not a good place to go. Did not feel safe camping here. This is by far the worst spot I have ever camped. Staff dont follow rules. Guests don't follow rules. Garbage all over sites when we checked in. So many people cut through this campgrounds that dont even stay here. Not closed off so anyone can just walk in and steal or make noise. No staff on site to control people after 11 PM. So many ways to cut through your sites. If your looking for sleep f0rget this place. Church bells. City staff working from 11:30 till 1 am. Homeless people digging through the garbage crushing cans at 5 am in the morning. It's so small and surrounded by city life and loud. Were Never coming back here again. Seasonal campers are rude to weekend and weekday campers. I had a camper dump his garbage from the roof of his RV and it blew all over my kids and myself and he just looked at us like. I live here you dont. Sites a poorly marked off. Have to wait for other to move off your site because they think they can set up anywhere. Staff dont care until you say something. Why do I have to tell staff that this is my site I booked? And wait for them to clear your site. Not friendly place to be after waiting for others to move their gear. So disappointed bringing my kids here and we couldn't even get a good nights sleep. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT CAMP HERE....

Surrounded by a lakeshore boardwalk and beach on the south, park on the east, marina on the west and older style downtown Cobourg a couple of minutes walk on the north. A few large trees scattered throughout provide some shade at times, well kept locked washrooms provided, and the place is nice and quiet and relaxing. An easy and comfortable drive through the town to get to the campground, even for large rigs. Friendly and helpful staff and visitors. We...
Read morePricing scam. They charge you $15 when you book, then another $60 when you are there, per site. This is a municipal campsite with no amenities and no privacy between sites. Provincial sites are only $35 have way more space and privacy, and allow multiple tents per site. This is not a campsite, it's a trailer park and if you go here for camping you will be treated like second class by the staff (who were extremely rude). To top it all off there is no one working after 6pm (purchasing of firewood and ice ends then) and no security, some homeless person walked right in and came on our site to rummage through...
