I frequently use the pick up service at this location. Usually even if there is a line or a wait they at least coke great you and tell you of a wait.
Todayâs experience was just terrible. They were busy and I do understand how it can be frustrating. They came to the car as I was waiting in line for a parking stall, The lady said, thereâs a wait and I could come back if I wanted. I decided to stay. As I went into the stall, I called the number to register.
First call just rang until I got a busy signal, as Iâm watching the Wallmart employees working with other customers, I noticed as the cars kept coming the employees would get there info and bring out their groceries first. Figured it was just a pre-call pick up.
I kept calling about 5 more times, this time they would pick up and hang up my call. I walked up to the door to ask about my order & was told in a very posh and disturbed voice that they were extremely busy and would be a few minutes. Finally after 10 more minutes waiting outside of my vehicle trying to talk to any employee I finally got my order.
They brought out my order, only to stand there to tell me that I had 20 items substituted. He didnât help with anything, actually got mad when I put one of his blue boxes on the snow. Didnât help packing or even hold a bag for me. Didnât even say bye, thanks, or make any recognition as he walked away.
At the end, I wanted to speak to someone to tell them they probably need the extra help in that department. Only to get a âyeah itâs busy, gotta expect these things to happen, we canât afford to put more people there. Next time call aheadâ
I understand itâs busy cause of Christmas, but itâs Wallmart. Theyâre always busy, this is a department that is all about scheduling and organizing. They donât deal with customers as if they were working directly with them.
Between the huge cluster f*ck of vehicles. And the absolute disrespect from the manager and attitude from the guy who wheeled out my orders. I definitely wanted to throw my coffee at the store pulling away.
Unfortunately this review will not get any of the attention it should. But at least to whoever reads this, knows what to expect and if it may happen to them. Hopefully they can get further then me and someone in Wallmart would actually take action to...
   Read moreThis is a review of the eye centre. Please do not pay to get your contact lenses fitting at this store. I went in to get an eye exam, glasses and get a contact lenses fitting. Upon paying for the fitting ($35), I asked to get my contact lense prescription and was told to come back for a follow up to ensure the trial contacts fit. I had no issue with the fit of the lenses and came back to the eye centre to ask for my contact lense prescription. I also mentioned to the staff there I didnt want to purchase contacts from the eye centre but most likely would buy the online. The staff present at the time stated they will provide my contact lense prescription if I could just come back in half a hour or so as their systems were down at the time. When I came back, the two staff mentioned they couldn't access this information and that they will leave a note for the contact lense fitter to call me. I didnt get a phone call about my contact lense prescription and ended up going back to the eye centre. Spoke to the fitter who stated she cannot provide me with a contact lense prescription (which I paid for a fitting for) and that I had to buy contact lenses from the centre. After explaining to the contact lense fitter that of the 20 somewhat years I've worn contacts, all the optometrists and eye centres I had been to always provided me with my contact lense prescription and didnt require me to buy contacts from them. She still insisted she would not provide me with the contact lense prescription.
I just would like to state that I wouldn't have a problem with this IF I was told prior to getting the fitting that I would be required to purchase contacts from this centre. THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED. And I later was told I would not receive this information until I purchased contacts from this.centre. The last of transparency is deplorable and even after explaining this with the contact lense fitter, she still wouldn't hear me out.
I felt blindsided by this and I hope you will not as I did. A formal complaint will be made to the college...
   Read moreI've read so many complaints on here and realized people here are just a bunch of crybabies. No, this store does not feel like a prison, however certain people will be flagged as person of interest and will be harassed only because it's necessary, and too bad for you if you don't like it, because they don't like their things being stolen, so boo hoo to you. Yes, theft is a HUGE problem here, and I think they should have a police officer on-site at all times because of it.
Now, In one of the reviews here, an Indigenous lady complains that her 3-year-old is being accused of stealing candy. In my experience, and on more than one occasion I've witnessed Indigenous families with toddlers shoplifting, using toddlers to mask themselves as innocent. This lady complaining is not as innocent as she claims to be. Some Shoplifters do purchase items but they also have stolen items hidden at the same time. I've witnessed Shoplifters try and use complaining as a tool to get away with stolen items, and sometimes these thieves make a big scene to try and achieve it ( but it never works ) I've also noticed that most Indigenous people have trouble understanding the concept of what is considered rude. My ex-girlfriend was one of them. Employees would help her in the most polite way but she would still walk away yelling "You're so rude " So don't listen to any of the complaints here because they're not the victims. I'm certain the employees have a lot to say and complain about to the customers as well.
Anyways, all in all this store is as good as any other, it is recommended to shop here. Every store has its good and bad days. Ohh what you've seen a lot of mold in the produce aisle, well boo hoo, have you considered maybe they're short-staffed? Ohh what the employee didn't help you with your expectations, well boo hoo, maybe he/she is new and or under a lot of pressure. there's a reason for everything, so stop whining and analyzing everything and just let life live.
