Was our first time at this location and it was the first time going out for a birthday since the reopening of restaurants so we were very excited. Went to dine in with my boyfriend and his family at about 9:30pm tonight for his birthday and we got our drink orders taken by a younger blonde lady. After looking over the menu we were greeted by a new waitress (with pink hair) who took over our table. We placed our orders and once we received our food there was a misunderstanding that my boyfriend doesn’t eat meat so we had to wait a little while longer for him to get his food remade without any meat. After we spoke to 2nd waitress about the misunderstanding, we were greeted by yet again a NEW waitress who was older and had white hair. She began asking why we had placed an order with meat and we proceeded to try and explain the misunderstanding we had with the Pink haired lady but the waitress was very short with us. We also mentioned that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and the 3rd waitress even asked who’s birthday it was but it was not acknowledged and we brought it up again towards the end and we were told sharply that there are no birthday desserts or coupons that are given out. I have been to Boston Pizza every year for birthdays since I was a child and they have always had something given out to customers for birthdays, but today was very disappointing for us. We did not feel welcomed by the staff and had our waitress changed 3 times when the restaurant literally had no more than 1 other table occupied, and due to a misunderstanding of my boyfriends food order we felt a change in the way we were treated. The same lady with pink hair was still serving another table, so we don’t understand why we were passed on to the 3rd waitress. I am so disappointed with the customer service at this location, and this experienced ruined my boyfriends birthday as he had requested for us to go to Boston Pizza because of the many wonderful experiences we have had in the past. As a customer of Boston Pizza for many years I will not be returning to this location. If you have a birthday with family or friends, I would recommend going somewhere else as the experience and service was not...
Read moreWas there for lunch with a friend and had the worst server I've ever encountered. We sat down on the patio and arrived about 5 minutes before two other tables did; despite being there first we were the last to be acknowledged and have our orders taken. Our order was simple; 2 iced teas and nachos only with beef and cheese. It took our server 15 minutes to bring our drinks and our food took 45 minutes, but since it was the the lunch rush, we as former servers were understandable. When we got our nachos though we saw that there were tomatoes on it. I'm not normally one to complain but my friend is allergic so we had to say something. Our server was very defensive and rudely told us that we never said no tomatoes, when we had clearly ordered it as plain nachos with only beef and cheese. After arguing with us for a while she finally (begrudgingly ) agreed get us new plate made. All the while she never admitted her mistake. At this point we just wanted to quickly finish our lunch and leave as we now felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because after we got our new nachos the manager came out to check on us and was very apologetic and sweet. And the redone nachos only took about 5 minutes to be made. Needless to say, neither of us tipped our server, and this was actually the first time I've never tipped. TL;DR horrible server, good food, ...
Read moreSo I go have lunch at Boston Pizza and I find a hair in my food just when I was almost done which was disgusting...I brought it to the waitress' attention who said the manager (Kim) would be with me shortly...the manager comes over and looks incredibly miserable and has the audacity to Question ME where it came from...now Im a nice respectful person and she made me uncomfortable questioning me so I said “why are you asking me” she proceeds to say “I’ll check the cameras to see where the hair came from and we will take care of the bill because you clearly look like you CANT pay!” I was so stunned...Like...what? I got up right quick and asked her to repeat herself...And then waitress who was complimenting my hair just 15 minutes before when serving me says “Oh I’ve had problems with her before!” It was only my second time there and I have Never felt that kind of disrespect until today and man what a terrible feeling. I would even go as far to call it racial profiling because I have never been treated like that for "looking" a certain way? NEVER go to BP’s in Clareview unless you want to have hair in your food and be treated like a suspect for bringing it forward to their management. I also called the BP's when I left to get a name of the manager and all that they would tell me was "Kim" even though I asked for a full name so that I could make...
