A picturesque location pleasantly secluded from the nearby urban sprawl. It is rocky, but is worth a visit nonetheless. The beach is accessible via a large set of stairs near UBC’s Museum of Anthropology or by hiking in along the shoreline from Acadia Beach or Spanish Banks. The tower —an old military lookout which was built in anticipation but never utilized— stands in isolation above the waters at the edge of Burrard Inlet. Similar to Wreck Beach, this portion of shore is also clothing optional, however it is not as popular amongst the pro-nudity patrons as its better known-neighbour.
