Rocket Fizz — Local services in Greater Strathcona

Rocket Fizz is an amazing store that takes you back to your childhood with all of the candy and signs. It is laid out very well and it is next to impossible to go in there without buying anything. Some of the prices may be high for certain items but you don't mind paying more to indulge. And they sell A LOT of sodas. One that I have been craving for a long time is Dr. Pepper Cherry; usually it is available here in Edmonton, but with the aluminum can shortage due to COVID-19, it's not being made in Canada. So, I decided to message the store and see if they could get it for me; they went out of their way to locate it from one of their suppliers and ordered exactly the number I requested. What a lovely store. I came in looking for something and Nicky was an absolute doll, showing me different candies that were similar to what I was looking for (even making sure to note the mouthfeel, which I hardly considered!). The aesthetic and general feel of the store gives it a very magical, nostalgic air, which is perfect since they have so many candies and sweets from my childhood that I hadn't remembered until I saw them! This place on Whyte Avenue is like going to Kid heaven! I am young at heart and I love this store.The fond memories and nostalgic feelings I received in this store where sweet (pardon the pun ) and heartwarming. The sugar servers were fun and helpful. The candy ideas and hundreds of other fun gift ideas make this place a fantastic stop for fillers. Please stop in here if you want quality items for a little more than the norm.
